But I make good money where I’m at. I could resign and leave on good terms but they would want me to train a replacement which could take months. I don’t want to just fuck off because I won’t be able to find another company like this in the area in case I ever wanted to come back. At the same time my mental and physical health is getting back. I don’t know wtf to do
>>
You haven't explain why you want to leave in the first place

Can you take time off? Either take a vacation or even better talk to your boss and HR about having some kind of health problem and you need a few 4 day weeks. You can easily rope some teledoc into writing you a note that you have stress related health issues and need a little more time away from work. Then use that extra time to decompress (don't only fuck around, rest relax and take care of yourself).

Collude with a family member to take some kind of family leave of absence

Again I cant emphasize the importance of taking care of yourself. Getting all of your vitamins and minerals can drastically change your general health and perception of life in a small amount of time. Most people are deficient in something.

A lot of personal issues and I just need a break from everything desu. Ive been doing this shit for 15 years and I know taking a couple weeks or even months off won’t be enough. Also despite being here for that long, I’m not close to anyone here. I had a manager clowning a former employee after he left for requesting time off for mental health. They basically told him the company doesn’t offer that and he would need to quit if he requires any extended amount of time off beyond a few weeks. Faggots

>leave of absence
They don’t allow us to do that outside of a death in the immediate family. Even then it’s limited

Funny you mention that because my B12 and D levels were on the lower end of the range. I clearly have a deficiency but all the mentally retarded physicians say that it’s still “within range” and that my labs are perfect. I’m pretty sure I have neuropathy after dealing with the symptoms of a deficiency for years. I blame myself for taking their word

Mine was/is in the pinky and ring fingers. Dunno how bad you got it but in my experience it has gotten better. In fact it has become a good internal signal of mounting external stress that I, a retard, cannot identify myself by any other intelligent means. Silver lining or whatever

I get better results from food/diet for vitamin controls with the added benefit of keeping myself mindful of blood sugar and endocrine activity by the same activity. Although some supplements may help, I am no expert on those.

Over time your perspective may change on the employment situation, it's all part of a bigger picture for you. Imagine what someone who really wants the best for you would tell you to do right now, even if you didn't want to hear it. You can even be hard on yourself if you need to. But you ought to consider whatever they (you) say, you have important things to say

Both of those are essential, especially vitamin d. Not a bad idea to get a vitamin D and an MK 4 vitamin K supplement and also a b complex or just b12. It's a good idea to make sure you're getting enough magnesium because most people don't, or they have issues that prevent them from holding onto it. The other electrolytes are important too, but many people are deficient in magnesium. Selenium is also something a lot of people lack, but you don't want to overdo it (iirc selenium is used to convert inactive thyroid to active thyroid, which is a huge part of energy levels and metabolism). You might benefit from some time with a nutrionist or health coach, but good ones can be hard to find. I would look into people who talk about metabolism often, emphasizing health from the cellular level up and are focused on vitamins and minerals and how they play a role in overall health. You could out some time and energy into maximizing your health while taking some time off, then once you have a grasp on that reassess keeping your job or not.

I have been taking B12 sublinguals in the last month because my levels were low. I also have burning in my legs and feet. I probably got the same shit as OP but I believe I have absorption issues. I eat healthy and I should be getting a lot of vitamins/nutrients from the type of diet I have. At least I would think I do but my blood levels suggest otherwise. I will have to see a GI doctor to hopefully figure it out

>magnesium
What type of magnesium and dosage do you recommend? I see a couple different types out there.

It's probably worth leaving on good terms, especially if you have a skillset where this is the only good company in your region. Of course in the short-term it would feel good to quit tomorrow, but in a few years if you want to go back to work you'll be happy you didn't burn any bridges. Of course, if you have enough money to retire then it's a different story, but it doesn't sound like that's the case.

I like magnesium malate and taurinate. Some people like glycinate for sleep. You can also try making topical magnesium with a spray bottle and some magnesium chloride, adding water until it fully dissolves. It can burn if you're deficient, especially on places with a lot of hair or skin that is dry, cracked or cut. It doesn't work for some people but it's been great for me. You let it sit on your skin for 20-30 minuted and then take a shower, less if it's burning (it can't harm you it just hurts)

It all depends on who the manager is. I have seen some people put in notices and try to do things the right way but their managers get pissy about it and end up letting them go anyways, possibly even marking them as a no rehire.

Quit and then take enough time off until you feel better. Then go work a part time job close to your house or something. That’s what I plan on doing sometime in the near future. I’m burnt out with my career and I don’t want to keep doing that for the next 25 years. I would rather do some part time work close to where I live and just enjoy my life. It sounds like you have enough money to do that
