How much do you budget for luxuries?

1$

inside /biz/ there are two wolves

I didn't spend a single dime on any kind of luxury until the June stock crash nearly wiped my lifetime gains out. Now I spend money as if I never lost anything. I use my negative gains to (un)fund my new collection habit, I guess. God! But keeping moisture out of these collector's items is nearly impossible.

My version of budgeting is emptying my bank account into my brokerage account every paycheck (after paying bills) and not having any money left for luxuries.

currently, zero. what's a luxury anyway? something i don't absolutely need, or something actually expensive / high status?

My “luxuries” are the following
>weekly large pizza from my local pizza shop
>after work donut
>cigarettes
>weekly 6 pack of local Pilsner
>a big tub of Amish potato salad
I’ll say about 400 a month

do crippling drug addictions count as luxuries? if so like $500 a month on that, and then a ton on take out because im too lazy to cook, but thats it. i haven't bought a video game or PC part since 2023

the funny thing is I thought about stuff like these, too, except I'm /fit/ so its more like

>full sugar and pulp orange juice and apple juice
>chocolate milk
>protein pancakes with full sugar jam
>air fried fries with a bit of garlic mayo sauce
>>

You spend pc a month on drugs and dining, I think video games would be a cheaper hobby
>>
I'm $2 mil net worth and still hunt for the best deals and fly economy. It's for me to justify wasting money on "luxuries"
