Fidelity tried to link me with a local investment firm that wanted to charge a 1% annual fee to manage my retirement and brokerage accounts. That means they'd get $10k every year for $1 million worth of my investments. I politely told them to fuck off but one of them kept "checking in" on me for over 2 years.
