Hows the job hunt going bros?
I'm pretty much retired and not looking for work but an AI training company gave me an offer based on my LinkedIn profile. I couldn't turn down $100 per hour fully remote.
>>62683209>>62683215Lol this perfectly sums up the job market. >op and many others trying desperately and failing to get a job >random anon who is already set for life trains his ai replacement so he can have even more money, fucking over all the prospective, entry-level workers in his industry The data for ai impact is starting to trickle in and it's basically that entry-level unemployment is up and wages are down. Things are probably going to suck dick until UBI is implemented. Unless you were born at the right time ofc.
>>62683224You're probably spot on. Whichever company that's funding the project I'm working on is spending an assload of money to make sure their AI can make expert-level PowerPoints, Docs, and Sheets in like 30 different career fields. There are 7k of us in the Slack group and we're "competing" with another AI training company for the same tasks.
>>62683274At least they know u r indian.
im unemployed but i dont understand how everyone is unemployed when unemployment is low and flat at like 4pc according to govt numbers
>>62683209never have to worry about getting paid in my line of work
>>62683209Got my first job in May It's so weird I used to be a piece of shit NEET and now I have my own personal office and bathroom that gets cleaned by someone else

>>62683308It’s just retards I graduated during the 08 crisis and that was actually bad, couldn’t even get a shit job let alone a good one. A thousand applications to work at a failing steak and shake
>>62683308they are counting gig work like delivery apps (uber/lyft doordash/uber eats) as employment which is why the number looks like it hasn't moved much.
