My first wage just arrived. Shill me your stock/shitcoin/precious metal that I will buy with this money.
Well done there. Do already have experience with researching and then buying assets?

>>62684809When I looked into my first assets I had no prior experience or education. The most common advice was:a) don't spend what I'm not prepared to loseb) don't just take a suggest actually read up on itThere were days where I ended up not spending time on my pastimes in order to really think about whether an asset had potential, what future events could cause a rise or fall in value. Not knowing what asset class would perform best during the year I began I diversified with metals, stocks and crypto. Safe, reasonable, risky. It just so happened that enough of my first crypto picks blew past the other two types. Not all successful assets are tied to purely practical things either.Even with the major dips this year the assets that did right by me are more expensive than when I first bought them, so instead I'll mostly recommend assets I'm looking into buying if I see enough potential in them to hold through periods when the market dumps.First there's having some stuff on the ultra-safe end like reaching 1 ounce of gold and 100 ounces of silver. It's what I did before buying stocks and crypto but most things were cheaper on the day I started. A bit more of a risk-reward factor: 50% QQQ, 25% SPMO and 25% stacked hedges like NTSX, RSST. Stepping it up a notch, stocks like: BATL (oil), CNSX: MAXX (hydrogen), SATA (dividends), WPM, NG, NAK, NEM, AEM (related to metals - but as you see it's a crowded area), AMFN, DVN, STMN, NNE (energy - related to the possibility of increasing power needs). RAIL is said to have 10-100x potential due to the privacy narrative in crypto and I own some, but crypto is even more volatile and I won't pretend otherwise just because some assets produced great results for me. Again, research all of this carefully. Use the 4chan archives and stock market thread to ask more questions. Is it boring? Sure. Is it worth it when your gains vastly outweigh your losses? Absolutely. Happy hunting.
P.S. I see someone mentioned Polkadot (DOT). That's one I saw when I was deciding on my first assets. I concluded it had potential but that it was something to skip at the time and buy later on when I made real gains. Not only do I have way more money than the day I first bought any kind of asset, DOT is also 6x cheaper than that day. It'd be easy for me to take a gamble on it, but I'd rather research its current status more instead of just throwing money at it as some kind of coinflip.
