Most of the people I've known, their parents pay their rent for them, or bought their house for them. It seems like it's everybody.I'm trying to think of people that pay for their own housing that's under 40, but it's very few. This really shouldn't be an acceptable situation for anybody. People should be able to afford housing without having to be a boomer with an investment account that spent the last 50 years compounding.People get their meager little existence, relying on other people paying their housing. And they don't see anything being wrong with this situation. Because they have just a little bit of something, and as long as they own a house and most people their age don't then everything is fine and dandy.I'm saying people should be able to afford basic housing off a basic wage. But most people will scream bloody murder. It's like, even though their life is shitty and they could never afford it on their own, everything is perfect and great as long as they have a little bit more than others do. I don't think this is something they should be defending.
The vast majority of personal wealth is in homes so yes they don’t want to blow it up
