What is the main thing you’re trying to achieve?
>>62692275have enough money so I can keep NEETing
>>62692275To need nothing and to be content with it
>>62692289how are you trying to do that?

I believe that is the central issue. Lack of sole focus is what gets us stuck, whether it's with money, jobs, women, family sport, or whatever elseA singular powerful focus can drive a man to do great things in a short timeWhat is yours?

>>62692275I was trying to make enough money to retire and I did, but now I don't know what I want to actually achieve.
The same thing Americans had before us>wife & kids>a proper house>being able to retire>being able to take vacations regularly>having savings that I can use for emergencies and if possible to not and instead leave something behind for my children>steady income that can support previously mentionedGuess Im just asking for too much
Freedom
>>62692275Freedom. Specifically, freedom to travel and live where I please. Freedom to pursue higher education and certifications in various fields for the sake of, rather than professional requirements. For instance, I'd like to get a masters degree, more pilot and sailing certifications, maybe even learn to be a mechanic or EMT. Professional fitness training would be nice too. I'd like material things too. Cars, watches, clothes, and other things like good food, drinks and sex. But mostly just the ability to decide what I want to do with my time. Being able to wake up and decide whether to stay home, brew coffee and sit by the fireplace, or go for a walk, or decide last minute to travel to another country. And I'd have more time for my hobbies too.Well, I can dream. But it looks like I won't achieve most of this until I'm at least 50. And by then I'll have what, maybe 10 more years before my body turns into a saggy, wearied mess?

>>62692275Two goals:Free my mind from the ego, the pressure, the chains, the pretention, the trends, the boredom the lazyness and the sickness to get my ass to make and distribute music that speaks my truth. Then own a house where I can fit my piano and get lost in it forever. First i will have need to myself from the temptations in life that bring me severe stomach issues and consequences (IBS, weightloss and brain fog) that keep me depressed and disfunctional.

I am tired of this world, of its people… I want a cabin in the woods where I can hermitmaxx away from society
>>62692275I'd like to just keep investing for as long as I live, so that I can help those I know with their economic or health-related misfortune. Even before my first investments paid off I'd helped some get back on their feet after hurricanes. Some assets in the portfolio have come back very strong from past events that made the whole market dump, so there's reason enough to believe they'll make me a lot going forward. Aside from that there are a lot of practical matters to prepare for in the future. Learned recently that a hurricane did come through here about 75 years ago and the rarity means this place really doesn't build with that event in mind, but even if I move somewhere else there's no guarantee it stays disaster-free for the rest of my life.
>>62692275Owning my home and having enough money I can work like 15h a week in a job I like. There needs to be at least a little struggle, else one grows fat and lazy. Spend the rest educating myself on whatever topic I like at that moment, read, learn to craft and repair everything under the sun etc. I genuinely have no idea how people get bored in their free time when you have all the knowledge in the world at your fingertips.
