On September 9, 2026, India's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-IND) issued non-compliance notices under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) against 15 offshore virtual asset service providers, explicitly including FixedFloat (FFGX Group LLC). Alongside these notices, the government directed the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to block public access to their apps and website URLs. Following this regulatory action, FixedFloat officially updated its Terms of Service to list India as a prohibited jurisdiction, explicitly banning individuals and legal entities located in or accessing the service from India. [1] (https://ff.io/terms-of-service)
