It unironically makes no sense, especially for shit like crypto. Crypto has never ever ever benefited from higher interest rates, there is zero legitimate argument to be made that this is a good thing for it.

i guess all the smart money is rotating out of stocks and into crypto, otherwise i can't see why it would pump so hard all at once.
really cool that tech is also pumping somehow, literally can't make money even shorting a bear market after a rate hike jesus

As long as the stock market is >50% daytrading gambling retards and hype chasers they will keep doing this. It's nothing but a liquidation game at this point. And no, smart money isn't moving into crapto kek. As long as there are shorts to liquidate, the price will go up irrationally. And then at some random point, during 0 vplume overnight trading of course, the market makers will pull all the bids and price will teleport down in a picosecond, leaving all the gambling morons confused again. Rinse and repeat with a dash of algorithms and this is the kind of 'price action' you can fully expect, where nobody wins except the house + 1% of retail/human participants.

I mean think about it, do casinos require fundamentals to take your money in blackjack or roulette? The sooner you come to grips with the idea that it's fake & gay, the better. It's not just some proverb, or a manner of speech for coping. It literally is all fake & gay.

If company x was 90% debt and 100% reliant on rates, they would still pump it +80% right before it goes bankrupt
