I think the AI models we have right now are pretty darn impressive. I use them for rote tasks as an infrastructure engineer. They aren't really agentic in the sense that I still have to go over the output but it makes a lot of things far faster, its not like you have a project engineer in your pocket but its on the level of a junior engineer I'd say. It also has generalized knowledge, in the sense that it has junior engineer knowledge and capabilities in every field. I'm very bullish on tech because of this.
