Shitcoins (such as cheese, pepe) are jeet scam perpetrated by the same group behind apu, pepepal, saintpepe, safetybonk, lily, and various other shticoins.Their aim is to repeatedly rug unsuspecting /biz/ newbs.how works:- Owners claim "community" token, coin of /biz/ & hide behind anonymous domain registrations and TG groups- "boilerplate" contracts do not have dox'd owners- buy fractions of time on physical billboards which they call marketing & buy ads on 4chan- leverage derivatives of [pepe] memes and spin it to whatver bullshit they are pushing; with a cache of memes these come in handy when advertising or posting on /biz/ and similar forums- ads run in unison with posts on /biz/ but it's never "HEY BUY THIS <TOKEN>", instead it's far more surreptitious and in the form of a question or an assertion, or day X of posting until cheese 1B- to avoid biz bans they foster fake covnersations like "I already 10x'd this", "normies gonna seethe", "market cap of 50m inbound", "seethe when priced out will be ledengary" etc- Eventually a "whitepaper" is published or a bullshit blog post/copypasta shit of an open source app. it's always released on their website which will be specific to whatever token they are pushing- TG community is built to ~1000 individuals as a result of raids on /biz/- Eventual coinmarket listing to build up excitement- Anyone asking sensible questions is immediately banned- Towards the end they host weekly meetups with "devs" asserting that they are legit,white and wont rug- Dumps come in several waves spanning weeks/months blamed on unhappy dev/blah so as to calm down TG.- When it's over, they cite jeets for rugging, the "autist lead dev" for getting a divorce/cancer/dex/uniswap bug (support ticket opened with uniswap).- TG then deleted, web site stays up but links are broken- Rinse and repeatThis summary makes'em delet thread.
