I bought XOM when it was half the price it was now, long ago.

Should I keep holding?
Honestly isn't it in my best interests if both straits remain closed for like a decade?

That means XOM will skyrocket?

It won't drop like a rock on eventual peace news so I'd hold it. You won't sell the picotop but that doesn't matter. The potential for growth is still there given the current situation. You also get divvies on top.

Take profits now and in december, keep some portion because there was structural under invest in oil extraction that was going to lead to a squeeze in a year or so if everything stayed green. All that exploration and drilling needs to keep happening and they need to offset destruction of facilities in the war.

It will take a shit if America bans diesel exports but this will lead to a gasoline shortage once diesel storage is full and be promptly reversed.
