just buy ANY ETBs or SPCs or anything (ETB like boxes are best for storage) at MSRP and hold for 20 years then sell it to a collectors card shop or some shit for 70-80% of market, its that simple. it shouldnt be more than 10% of your networth anyways.

reminder that those cases are not oxygen tight.
every day those cards are being oxidized and destroyed.
In 20 years your psa 10 will not be as "prestine"
>>
i met a person who made art for MTG. cant remember which cards exactly.

I won't invest in Pokémon in this market for the same reason I won't buy military or oil stocks - it's fucking evil as shit

It's going to go the same way the baseball cards went.

Buyers who can a) afford them and b) are willing to pay for them are a dwindling lot.

I recently liquidated a bunch of revised dual lands. They went like hotcakes.
Extremely rare alpha/beta RL cards in good condition are much less liquid, though. You can still get a good price, but it might take months.

"Taking months" to find market isn't what I would call liquid. Stocks take seconds to sell, and funds take a two or three days to liquidate.

Also, just because you can find a buyer today doesn't mean you will be able to find one in ten years when the game is dead. Cardboard doesn't actually generate any profit like companies do, they don't pay dividends.

At least bitcoin can be used to buy drugs and weapons. Cards have no use whatsoever.
