Starting a new job, they give me a bonus package of RSUs or cash, vesting over 4 years with 1 year cliff.
Company: Tesla
I don’t need the money immediately but would be nice to get a deposit for a mortgage.

If you think the stonk will go up, pick the RSUs. Unless you know you're gonna get canned before they vest anyway. Equity is the cheat code to wealth in tech generally speaking.

Take cash, buy actual physical things like vehicular improvements, land, precious metals
Use your imagination just have possession of your extra money don't give it away for some vague promise of greater returns in future
