Not really true. Crime and manipulation exist. For example, lets say that someone secretly has a massive supply of coins behind the scenes and really hates the people running the project. They can use their massive supply to kill the chart. They can use their connections to blacklist people or make it difficult for them to work. They can pay for FUD.
