An important factor in electricity has to do with the difference between residential type use and industrial use. Industrial facilities need three-phase power and much higher voltages. These can't be generated from solar and are the major reason natural gas is so important. The people in Germany etc pushing "green energy" are basically retards who don't understand how anything works.The biggest problem with Western leadership is that too few people have real educations in science and engineering instead they have bs degrees like politcal science.
