Having to pay $150+ per month for the latest AI model is now an absolute necessity, sort of like having a cell phone or the internet, as to not get left behind in life.
>>62727711necessary for what?
>>62727711Says who? Everyone who actually needs it gets it from work and for the rest, $20 or even free is fine.
>>62727711I paid OpenAI $40 in extra credits in just the last couple days to do my work, yes it takes away from my pay but at least I don't have to do the fucking work.
>>62727711
>>62727711I've been telepathically molesting grok for $10 per month
>>62727711Is this really true /biz/? I have never paid for any AI and I don't use it at my job or in my life. Am I retarded? Will I get left behind?
>left behindBy who, jeets?Shoulda bought bitcoin a decade ago chumps.
low IQs HAVE to use AI because they can't think or reason or create anything with their own mind, because again, they are low IQ
>>62727711i just upload my entire life (everything about me imaginable) so the AI can try its best to replicate my personality so on days where i just dont want to use my brain the AI tells me to do what i would normally do. this is the best usecase.
>>62728054if you really wanted to outsource your brain and never have to think again with AI, it's still not a good idea because the technology itself is seriously flawed in subtle, not so subtle, and insidious ways, and because of how it works as a statistical regression system, it always will beI spot errors and discrepancies constantly, even if I try to use it to pull up quick information on some of the games I play, which you'd think they'd have perfect knowledge of right? but noit either misses information that would fit the output of my query, hallucinates stats/skills/other info that don't even exist, pulls from outdated sources, and if you prompt something the AI doesn't have or can't find much data on, what it generates is just plain wrongthese are unsolvable problems specifically because of how AI works, but the masses will never see it or understand this probably because they were never really thinking to begin with, everything they do will be deeply flawed as it all cascades down from flawed AIin the ultimate twist of irony, the people who can actually think for themselves and don't become mindless drones will inherit the earth
>>62727711are you retarded? just use a local model, they are really good now.
>>62727757Yes unironically. It seems to not be an iq thing either as I work with a lot of very hard working smart people yet I’ve been running circles around them because half of them use pencils like Neanderthals
>>62727711If it generates value greater than $150 a month, then it is worth it.For me, the free versions of GPT and Gemini together with free Chinese models are more than enough in my personal life. At work it is a different story.>>62728130Slow as hell even on my 16GB VRAM GPU, especially agentic workload. It isn't useful for anything more than simple prompts, or media creation.
>>62727718>Says who?OP
I finessed my way into Google AI Pro with student discount. It's incredibly easy to trick Sheer ID into thinking I'm in college.
>>62728203>If it generates value greater than $150 a month, then it is worth it.Selling fentanyl accomplishes this
>>62728054Fucking lol
>>62727711im pretty sure google is about to ban me. i aint payin for this shit though. i would rather spend 5k on my own workstation and deepsneed
>>62727716Op is not going to answer this question
Unless you’re programming extensively, the vast majority of people can get by with the free or $20 tiers just fine. Many workplaces are giving people CoPilot Premium, too.
>>62727716so you can vibe code muh fucking reddit tier app and make gazillions you bozo duh
Just us openRouter, credit it 10 dollars and use any IA in discount. Don't be a subscribe piggie, pay what you actually use.
>>62728043oh look we got a smart guy here, you think you're smarter than AI smart guy? You're not. AI can solve mathematics that no human has solved in 100 years, nobody needs your pea brain when we have AI therefore AI makes your pea brain worthless.
>>62728043It's not about intelligence, it's about speed. Even if we assume AI is only as smart as you (obviously an underestimation), I can run 100 parallel agents to do things in a week that would take me yesrs.
>>62728571and what do these "parallel agents" do?be specific
>>62728575Research stuff, digest information, build logic and the underlying algorithms to achieve the spec I gave to it, test formulas, perform analysis, etc. Need I go on?
>>62728578all Im reading is blablabla
>>62728581Simply being too stupid to comprehend basic concepts for white collar work does not make an argument.
>>62728590blablabla
