As the title said, I got fired from my job as a programmer because "I was no longer needed"But the real reason is because my boss wanted to hire his niece, who's a vibecoder. We can say AI and nepotism fucked me.I have 0.79 BTC, how can I survive with that for a couple months until I find another job?
>>62729322>I got fired from my jobCongratulations - you learned a valuable lesson, and motivation to not be in that situation again. If you need employment now get started and take anything that pays then start applying elsewhere if you need and move on. You can always join the army and die in a foreign county.
>>62729322I would use the bitcoin to buy kneepads if I were you
>>62729771>You can always join the armyI saw more people excited about working at a fucking subway than actually doing something with the army
hang in there, OP. but you have to understand, it will only get worse. I am also a vibe coder (but with 10 years of full stack actual programming experience) and I am getting a lot of anxiety every time I create a pull request where commits are 30 seconds apart and count that as a whole day of work. obviously, this is not sustainable and my position will also be removed soon.but this is precisely the reason why I am learning finance on my own now, to do swing trading with whatever I have already earned over the years.I recommend you don't pull any high risk shit with your assets right now until you become better and get the hang of it with a paper account. plan a strategy fitting your personality, learn basics such as chart analysis, indicators, current macros, start watching finance youtubers (the tasty group, papergains etc), read up on hedging (spreads like collars etc) and position sizing (kelly etc), ask LLMs questions and do not wait for a crash - start investing once you have a plan accounting for risk management and confidence.if you need time to learn all this, take it. move to your parents, stop playing videogames etc.good luck.
cont:in fact, I think you are in a better position than me, as I am 38 years old with wife, kids and responsibilities. if you don't have to take care of anyone, you can try to learn something new with a much lower risk. do not worry about gaps in your CV. you are not a fresh graduate anymore, nobody will ask you why you did nothing related for 6 months or less. in fact you can try to vibe code fun stuff for yourself and improve your portfolio/github while you are learning finance. look around what people on the internet and in the dev space need and just let the agents have a go at it. every useful chrome plugin or open source repo is good exposure/advertisement for you and shows you have not wasted the time you were unemployed.
>>62729322>a couple monthsThe hiring market can stay stupid over vibing for years>>62729966Has the right idea
>>62729989Lmao at thinking you’re going to make it trading. Those finance YouTubers are YouTubing for a reason you retard. Have fun blowing up your families finances and getting divorced
