The problem is all the investments take too long to pay off so that 17 trillion won't pay off soon enough that Venezuela oil plant growth will take too long, deporting enough illegals to free up housing will take too long, oil prices lowering will take too long and are bought months ahead so $1 gas if it happened tomorrow wouldn't take effect until at least next year and we all know it wouldn't reach that even if they dropped oil taxes tomorrow its all future growth but all the actions taken right now won't reflect it and getting to this point hurts us in the short term
