Also nobody is going to get married and move in with housemates or their parents. Singles have the most financial freedom because they don't necessarily need to own or rent a house to themselves. They can easily go live with family or even inna woods and no one but them has to care. No married relationship would ever last if they had to share things with people unrelated to the relationship. That's only a third world thing.
