Have they been sold though? Like Has NVDA already gotten the money for them?
Then who cares?

I don't hear a sound.... just
Silence.

But at what cost. I want to sell my AMD but i want to be sure this is it.

There's no documentation that the full amount of chips purchased were actually delivered. Nvidia describes the products they sell as not only the physical merchandise, but also "services", which means they count orders placed as revenue BEFORE the physical delivery of chips. Which means that their largest customers could pursue legal action to demand partial refunds (which would be substantial) if the chips haven't actually been delivered to date.
Even then, their share buyback increase is meaningless without the cash on hand to make the actual purchases.

I agree it's likely. This week will be pretty interesting. Noticed last week that intraday trading had a lot of buy orders placed right before the closing bell...looks like manipulation (probably legal...but manipulation).
Would be interesting if anyone in jensen jail thinks there's an anti-trust movement brewing...

Nvda is like a drug pusher. They fronted the drugs (gpus) to street dealers (neoclouds). So they have a massive accounts receivable but not sure about if the debts are being fulfilled. I think they are though. The model is working surprisingly.

It's a problem that it's not already built. Midterms will decide a lot of this, but even then some states take close to decade before construction projects actually get access to utilities. And even IF the datacenters get built...how could it be expected that nvidia's sales revenue will keep increasing when their major customers have already placed their orders? News says nvidia is expecting to double their chip sales and china is thinking about allowing them to sell in china again but that's in reference to PC-chips, NOT AI datacenter chips, which sell at a tiny fraction of the cost of ai chips. Increasing overall units sold does not mean revenue increase.

This makes sense because their dividend is such garbage: for those that bought nvda at a lower price, THIS means a promise fulfilled. He's spending the cash the company on rewarding early shareholders by buying them out for more than they bought.
But this doesn't make sense for him to paint himself as a "value investor", as if nvda's price right now is a "deal", because he OWNS the company...the only way for him to actually "make money" by buying at this "bargain price" is if sells it later at a price when it's OVERVALUED? Or "fairly" valued? So he's saying he'll eventually sell nvda when HE knows the people buying it (at this theoretical point in the future when he, an insider, knows the true price is lower than the market) will be bagholders?
No, if he's announcing his willingness to buy his own stock right now and he's actually doing it, this is the top. Maybe one more attempt to get past $235 is in the cards, but institutions have already been trimming their positions for the past 3 quarters.
October is looking bearish AF. This is peak peak clown world.

Except in this case nvidia is both the dealer and the guy giving out loans to the drug addict.
