>everyone on youtube, instagram, reddit and 4chan saying there are no jobs out there>after being laid off in July i started applying in August to audit the veracity of their claims>3 weeks after applying to an IAM consultant job i got a call back from HR saying that she wants to meet me>today i went to the technical interview and i nailed it>they said HR will contact me to schedule a meeting with the managing director>that was it? i dont even have experience with IAM, i just got a free trial on Okta and linked it with trial versions of m365 and salesforce this weekend to see how it works and AI told me everything to do>now im almost angry because i have set a low salary expectation and i didnt max extract unemployment bucksfuck doomers saying there are no jobs and also fuck people saying microsoft certifications are useless, thats all they cared about during this interview
>>62736781Good for you AnonGo get it.
>>62736781you will still make more than when you are unemployed and are in a much better situation
>haha there are jobs after all you losers>has a strong and uncommon qualification and is minimum 1.5SD smarter than averageWhy is it at all a surprise that someone in the cognitive top 10% or less can secure a job in a shit market?
>>62736781Take the job and keep looking?
>>62736781Idk, I lost my software job in February and found another higher paying one in two weeks. Paid off my truck with the severance package. I think it's more of an issue for zoomers with no job experience. If you're a chopped unc and know how to be likeable to HR foods it's no big deal.
>>62736781Its entry level and low skill jobs that are full. More senior level jobs are actually abundant as they cant be done by 3rd worlders
So you "nailed a technical interview" for an IAM consultant role with zero experience, zero background, and a weekend of Okta free trials and AI prompts, and the company just happened to skip past the multi-round vetting, background checks, and actual credential verification? Even if your little fairy tale fan fiction were true, celebrating because you lowballed your salary just to chain yourself to a desk is PEAK wage cuck behavior. You got played by corporate HR and you're thanking them for the privilege.Things are genuinely brutal out there. Two weeks of success in your head doesn't erase the hundreds of thousands of people sending out hundreds if not thousands of applications into the void and getting ghosted daily. There's a reason we are all on this board trying to find the next 1000x, (you) included
>>62737104Just to be clear, the salary i told them i expect is still higher than the one i had working my previous job but i asked Gemini what salary i should have asked and this clanker told me i lowballed myself out of 25%I have no experience in IAM consulting, i know what is IAM and i performed some IAM tasks in my previous job but Okta, Saviynt and CyberArk were completely unknown Saas to me until last monthBeing ghosted is natural, if your resume look like shit to the job you are applying they don't owe you an answer, i have been ghosted by HR in 2021 too and never decided to make it a big thingAnyway, i dont have the job yet so this thread is not me humble bragging because currently i am still unemployed but i have to admit that seeing all these people complaining about the job market made me anxious these past two months and its more about trying to debunk this idea that there are no more jobs because of AI, that's simply not truei have seen videos of people saying they are out of work for two years and i felt pity for them but then i realized that in two years you can get 15 certifications, get 4 driving licences, learn any trade and it just seems like these people think society OWES them a jobagain, atm im still unemployed
>>62736781>another thread where anon lies and claims he makes 200k a year "consulting"
>>62737104/biz/ is a dead board, this and >>62736940>>62736971are the same neets spamming dumb bullshit constantly to cope with their multi year failed link investments.
>>62737153i make far less than 200K lol
ok sar
>>62736781I’ve been applying to IT jobs for 17 months and I have only had one interview and I have experience I get ghosted by McDonald’s and min wage too
The people saying this are retarded loosers with two brain cellsYour description is perfect, preparing for a job? Already a head of 90%
>>62739314Post CVSeriously, theres probably something really wrong with it, and why are you applying to IT positions and fadt food wagies? Of course those dont hire overqualified IT technician to flip burgers
I’d only work a job if i could wfh
>>62739314>I have experienceprobably too much and not enough specific exp. I have 15 yrs exp and i think it scares people away. Have to apply for omg senior role must have leet knowledge about whatever tech that changes every 3-5 years. be expert at on site hosting, no now its cloud, now its hybrid, now its windows, now its linux, now its security compliance. We store all our passwords in one excel document in a network folder anyone can access. Make us more secure but dont change anything.
>>62737166>>62737146>>62736781you will make 80-100k max and will work with browns non-stop. your manager will be brown and any friendship you kindle will be with blue haired trannies. sorry bro but it's the IAM game so no wagmi for you
>>62740526where should a whitemin work in IT. I was thinking about starting a fitness instructor scam. Ill be a fitness instructor but ill hire some teen to hang out next to me and be my example of success. Have them show up at whatever gym we will be at. Basically just be a thirst trap and get people to pay for it.

>>62739884I know it’s shit I’ve gotten reviewed by my devops friend and a professional I paidNo clue what to add though because my experience at my last job was just terrible desu
>>62736861Getting paid nothing to do nothing (ie. Unemployed) is better than getting paid little for doing a lot and being taken advantage of, which is what a lot of companies do. Let alone having to spend all the extra hours driving every week and dealing with all the other headaches associated with the wagie life.
