It's still difficult to become a physician if you're a straight White man, sure, but that's why everyone wants straight White man doctors. The AMA has been completely egregious in what it has done to the physician role in the United States. If you import a hundred thousand "doctors" and let them take American physician roles, because you've been creating artificial scarcity by keeping White men out of medical schools for a few decades, you're going to run into the strange issue where you can keep paying physicians less. You just import foreign "physicians" with fake medical degrees/experience and bolster your hospital with hundreds or thousands of nurses. Everybody loses! Except the CEOs/administrative part of the health care cartel, of course.
