How do you guys make money?
>>62738803I made money with btc years ago and I haven't been able to earn anything since then. I'm poor.
I dont
>>62738803My company likes to print these small rectangles with funny numbers on them and give them to us every other week
>>62738832I know a guy who collects these. He lets me stay in one of his properties for free if I help him find new rectangles for his collection.
>>62738803A job
>>62738803I own a company that holds a large number of extremely niche certifications, experience, and insurance for working on some fairly dangerous job sites. So when a company needs some work done on one of the sorts of job sites we are certified, experienced, and insured to work on, my company comes up near the top of a very short list of companies that can do the work. Then they call me and we work out the details and I get the work done and they pay me.
I almost made 500k this year but /biz/ convinced me I should sell all my AI stocks right before they really popped off, because it was over.I realized I shouldn't listen to /biz/. Anyway I got a job recently.
>>62738803Unfortunately I am required to sell my time and energy to an organisation and in return I am paid in fiat currency. As I'm a blue collar worker, a significant component of the sale of this time and energy includes the degradation of my body. I estimate that by the time I reach 45 my body will be significantly degraded and I'll no longer be capable of comfortably living my day to day life.I'm hoping that by continuing to invest, the earnings from my investments will eventually grow into a large enough sum on a yearly basis that it will pay for my living expenses, but there's only so much longer the clown economy can run for...
>>62738891>Trusting /biz/ with your money Retard
I lost everything shorting TSLA. I m on gibs now
>>62739423newfag or what? /biz/ used to be the place to be to find the next 100x. It just sucks mega dicks now because the people who post the most are neet larpers and wagies with edited portfolios claiming to have 1 million bucks and you can make it by putting all your money in something stupid like VTI.
>>62738803From work. I used to work way more before and jump to the next high paying job, now I'm in a comfortable position of about 120k year. It's not much I confess but the jump from 80k to 120k really changed my lifestyle and pumped all my investments. If I can keep this for more 4-10 years I will technically retire early.
>>62739469The only thing that now is holding me is this gay market where everything is double/triple from 2 years ago with more downsides.
I own a construction company that pulls down 2.7-3m gross per year but most of that doesn't go to me it's goes back into the company and pays my employees. But the company also buys my groceries and takes me out to dinner and pays for my gas so my expenses are rather low. The business trips are also nice.
>>62738803I inherited ā¬1.2 million, and about 90% of it is invested in dividend stocks. That brings in ā¬4500 a month after taxes. So I don't look like a complete bum, I work part-time at an insurance office, 20 hours a week.
>>62738821same here> new hope enters the chat
Iām a shift supervisor at costco
>>62738803I work until my boss tells me to stop because he's afraid I'll sue him for labor exploitation. Plus, now I'm afraid to bet on shitcoins ever since all my shit got wiped out a couple of months ago, I'm a slave now
I've been working blue collar but due to health problems I'm looking into other options. Up until this point I've had no interest in white collar jobs. I enjoy working with my hands and learning practical skills. Any advice on white collar work? What industries are worth looking into?
>>62740028Makes me kek everytime
>>62740131White collar getting wrecked right now, glhf
>>62738869I'm not a stupid nigger that doesn't know how to create cash flow businesses unlike you.
>>62738803>buy low sell highTo figure out which assets will go high (sometimes) read up on them very very carefully
