The rumor is they’re using a network of buyers to go around to shows buying out vendors at 85-95% of comps. Baldhead Brian and the CB dopes mess everything up so I doubt they can pull this off

You own the cards even in the vault and they are actual real cards, if you want to sell them you can either 1. sell them natively on the vault's site and get a kick back OR 2. ask them to send the card back to you irl and sell it however you choose (ebay, in person, auction house, etc). They are banking on people not wanting to pay $5-100 shipping (depending on value of card) and wanting their card up for sale faster rather than waiting days to get the card. There are similar platforms like PSA Vault and Fanatics Collect. PSA Vault defaults to ebay as the seller i think and then Fanatics Collect's vault natively would put your cards on Fanatics website. Coinbase will eventually go out there and hunt super expensive cards, they might already have a collection of them AND THAT IS WHEN they will launch their marketplace and THE ONLY PLACE to get that rare card is on said auction house. In the sports industry usually the go to marketing big value card is the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle.
