That guy that interviewed Gilbert looks weird as fuck. He looks like he was supposed to come out of the womb retarded but barely missed it. Like he's got weird facial proportions. Super round head and no chin whatsoever, he had to grow that goatee because otherwise you wouldn't know he's got a chin. Deformed ass nigga.

Is quants only use case deposit tokens? No one uses their services for anything else because its basically just an API gateway.

"the purpose of the t0k3n is in the utility paper"

>open the Quant Overledger ® Whitepaper
>ctfl+f "t0k3n": 6 results, all about t0k3ns in general
>ctrl+f "QNT": 0 results

huh
Surely their website mentions what the t0k3n is for right?

>"You can pay your platform fee in USD, or you can subscribe with QNT"
>this is literally the only mention of the t0k3n on their entire website

double huh

See image and below

he bank pays fiat because banks legally cannot hold volatile crypto assets on their balance sheets to run corporate software. Quant built a Treasury to bridge this institutional gap. But saying the token doesn’t capture value because the bank pays in fiat is like saying an engine doesn't need gasoline just because you paid for it with a credit card. The backend system dictates that QNT is the mandatory cryptographic key for encryption and signing. No token locked by the Treasury = no network validation = no interoperability.
>>
>>62747743
Why do those things require the QNT token? Who receives them?

That is a lot of words for TNN.
>>
>>62747890
You asked a direct question about why the code requires it and where the tokens go. I gave you the precise technical layout. Dismissing the literal mechanics of the network architecture as a 'narrative' just confirms you aren't looking for an honest answer.
>>
>>62747914
I did? Biz is one person?

Anyway you said the token signs the cryptography which is insane
>>
>>62747922
If you want to argue basic semantics instead of system architecture: the token functions as the programmatic utility key required to authorize the transaction and pay the validators who execute the cryptographic signature. The point remains unchanged- no token means the code loop cannot execute. But enjoy the ID hopping.

tldr:

the clearing house will pay flat fees in usd for the overledger license

quant has enough qnt to run this system plus it scales to 18 decimals. the higher the qnt price, the less tokens need to be locked up for the enterprise software licenses for banks to use overledger.

outside QNT tokens are not needed but Quant benefits from high QNT token value, because high qnt price means quant can lock up less tokens for their enterprise overledger licenses for banks

also. overledger isnt replacing CHIPS or whatever payment system the banks use to the federal reserve ledger. basically the overledger will make the accounting part of the existing CHIPS payment system/ledger system much more efficient.
>>
>>62748001

the overledger makes CHIPS and the other payment system more efficient and faster, but the final reserve ledger from the TCH to the federal reserve is still sent through CHIPS
>>
tldr - overledger is just a fancy accounting enterprise software for the clearing house to balance their CHIPS / RTP ledger before sending it off to the federal reserve through fedwire.

tldr - quant has enough tokens internally to run overledger and dont need to buy back tokens. token value is based on pure retail speculation. but quant benefits from high qnt price because that means they need to lock up less qnt for enterprise licenses for banks to use overledger.

tldr- likely high crabbing and low chance of crashing with small chance of eventual upward price growth

Imagining the time some desperate baggie spent coaching gpt into saying this makes me cringe
>>

whats the probability that price has already topped and we won't see higher than $300 ?
>>

>Gateway Operators
Pretty sure Quant doesn't use those anymore since Fusion.
They switched to something called the "Trusted Node Program", which doesn't actually exist.

The Overledger is 99% just plain traditional software. The closest Quant gets to DLT is the "connectors" (which aren't paid in QNT and are just traditional software modules).
They talk to the native Layer 1 nodes (who aren't paid in QNT but in the native coin of their L1).

>with small chance of eventual upward price growth
screencapped. will repost in a week when qnt is $500

CANT
>>
the same responses keep being posted

Anyway assuming I can make another 35k in the next 6 months, and extricate myself from my horrible AI positions in the market that only crab, I will throw at least 1000 into qnt.
>>
>>62748662
14 million supply and a compelling narrative for the next bullrun, quant is already running. And in crypto the important factor in going higher is not going down 99.9% between runs. Bitcoin goes back to 60k on a dip, quant to 150, then a bitcoin recovery sends alts higher including quant.
>>
>>62748015
>tldr - overledger is just a fancy accounting enterprise software for the clearing house to balance their CHIPS / RTP ledger before sending it off to the federal reserve through fedwire.
none of this actually maters even if it wasn't a lie, what matters in crypto is hype because it is all speculative.
>token value is based on pure retail speculation.
And that's all that matters
>>
>>62748936
>I will throw at least 1000 into qnt
Why such a small stack? I'm kind of done with crypto but I've been bag holding about 50 quant for a few years now and am considering DCAing maybe a couple hundred every month starting next year, if it doesn't go crazy in either direction before then
>>
>>62750996
that is your path, this is mine.
>hype was 35 bucks 6 months ago
Shit bro. I should have locked in.
>>
>>62751042
>should have locked in
Me too, but it's exhausting desu. I'm too retarded unless qnt decides to continue being kind to me, /pmg/ is comfy and low effort, at least
