bullish signal

stocks are being kept down by high oil, and the oil price is based mostly on sentiment and headlines than available reserves

trump's just one taco away from oil crashing down to $80 again. which would cause indexes to all rise 3-5%

>Carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) quietly departed Sunday from San Diego to sail across the Pacific for what is expected to be an extended Middle East deployment, USNI News has learned.

The US is even repurposing a training ship for deployment

>Okon acknowledged in the letter that there are questions and concerns about the ship being away from the college’s campus at Fort Schuyler during the academic year. It normally serves as a training platform for the cadets while it is at the dock and also performs training cruises. The ship is designed with a full training bridge and classrooms, with accommodations for up to 600 cadets, teachers, and ship personnel.

Moon base contracts are going to SpaceX and Blue Origin. RocketLab's Neutron is nigh useless for moon base launches. Anyway, the big money is in commercial payloads nowadays, not NASA stuff. Starlink is going to launch on SpaceX rockets and it's likely Bezos is going to pull strings to ensure most Amazon Leo launches are on Blue Origin rockets. Also, RocketLab's Neutron is a bit small, which is a big disadvantage when launching D2D payloads with large antennas which are becoming all the rage these days.

>The G7 countries have agreed to release up to 100 million barrels of oil and diesel fuel from their strategic reserves over the next four months, French President Emmanuel Macron announced.

>According to Bloomberg, the decision was made under pressure from the Trump administration, which is trying to contain rising fuel prices.

>Washington threatened to ban diesel exports unless European countries put additional volumes on the market. Such a ban would have endangered a crucial source of supply for the continent, which relies heavily on imports to cover its shortfall in diesel production.

>US President Donald Trump welcomed the decision, saying that Europe has large diesel reserves and that "the process will begin immediately."

full porting is tarded. RKLB is late with Nootron rocket. Look how much trouble SPCX has had with larger starship rocket. If RKLB has similar problems stock could decline. RKLB is trying to become a space service company though, launch, sat building, sat operating, sat components so that part of the business is what I would be evaluating. I had and sold my position after the first big run up and because of the nootron delays.

I think the American rapprochement camp in Iran was pretty thoroughly discredited after Trump ripped up the JCPOA.

Why do you think the Iranians are in any way like Saddam or the Taliban? I think the events in March proved they are not. Iran has large numbers of long range precision weapons, 700+ Chinese, Russian and Iranian satellites to provide targeting data in real time, and dozens of tunnel complexes buried under hundreds of meters of granite to protect high-value materiel, command centers and production lines. Saddam and the Taliban did not have this. Saddam had a few inaccurate Scuds, but he had no good way of collecting targeting data anyway.

>>
>>62748502
So what? It doesn't matter how many soldiers or tactical assets you have, if your strategic assets are too meager. Saddam had very little in terms of strategic assets: no bunkers that could resist bunker busters, no way to collect intelligence beyond the front line, and very little ability to conduct long range strikes. Also, the terrain in Iraq is perfectly flat, which is the complete opposite of the terrain in Iran.

Idk why you keep mentioning Chinese drones. Iran is a major drone producer. Certainly, it was before the war, though a lot of production surely continues underground. Also, Iran's ballistic missiles are a way bigger danger than the drones.

I was looking at AMD but went KORU instead unfortunately. If AI becomes open like Googles leaked prediction expects, AMD is a great play. They sell 4k computers that are just perfect for running locally.
I hear its by far the best option for businesses that dont want to protect their data.

Have we already forgotten what happened in March/April this year? US bases near Iran were heavily bombarded, and the US was since then mainly operating out of bases 1000km away in Jordan as well as mobile ships several hundred kilometers away.

Trump said he wanted unconditional surrender and that he wanted to pick Iran's next supreme leader. Trump said the war would be over in 4 weeks, which he apparently genuinely believed this would happen, because he had scheduled a meeting with Xi Jinping on the 5th week, a meeting which he then postponed when it became apparent that the war wouldn't be over by then and he would be showing up in Beijing not as the glorious conqueror but as a guy who had just got his foot stuck in the strait of Hormuz.
>>
>>62748655
Not to forget, of course, all the economic infrastructure in the region that got blown up by the Iranians

Oil is going up because there are critical and systemic failures in the supply chains. The wars and headlines are honestly secondary at this point. If you are willing to look under the hood, you will realize that oil should be around $150 to prevent the future collapse. But this regime is doing price suppression, which real demand destruction, which causes even more pain in the future. Ignore all the shills like Kpler and TankerTrackers, the banks know what's coming. Everything is a shit test to make you sell oil.

The US is not sending the numbers of ground troops to the Middle East that would be required to invade Iran. Even the 2003 invasion of Iraq - arguably a much easier task given the terrain and the equipment of the opponent - involved 500k troops. And the US still doesn't appear to have any solution to the issue of Iranian long range strikes on US bases, so I don't see how a ground invasion could even work without large losses - there would likely be multiple Dhahran barracks incidents per day, depots would be destroyed, lots of equipment would be damaged before it even got anywhere close to the border, etc.

The US did send boots on the ground in April, near Isfahan. Supposedly to rescue a second F-15E pilot who somehow had been widely separated from the first, although there is reason to doubt the official story since the raid happened near one of the most important nuclear installations in Iran. The incursion didn't end so well, it appears. The official explanation was that aircraft got stuck in the sand, but you can see the fragmentation damage and the shell impacts in the footage of the aftermath. Maybe Trump will try another raid, but I don't see why it'd be likely to succeed.

>No one in history has ever won a war with just an airforce
Which makes it so weird why Trump apparently thought it would work this time. It didn't work in June 2025, but apparently he thought it would work if it was done again with twice as many aircraft

I decided to grace you guys with my portfolio

It's based on hundreds of hours of research

It's built on fundamentals. The only technical performance metric I took into consideration was correlation so I don't have a bunch of highly correlated names that all move the same. I literally didn't even look at technicals, didn't look at charts, the prices, not shit. Didn't backtest. Not shit. Nothing. Nada. I couldn't even tell you whether all of these companies are in a bull or bear trend, though, some them I just know. Despite that, you can't even imagine all the research that I've done.

Here you go. 10 ticker portfolio:
>BRK.B 12.5%
>JNJ 7.5%
>AVGO 15%
>CDNS 12.5
>IDCC 12.5
>MA 10%
>IDXX 10%
>VRSK 7.5%
>BMI 7.5%
>USLM 5%

If you want a more aggressive 6 ticker portfolio. Higher risk for potentially higher reward:
>BRK.B 20%
>AVGO 25%
>IDCC 15%
>IDXX 15%
>MA 12.5%

I mean we will see, I just think if they do invade it will be 2k causilities max in the first 6 months.
Before I was 60/40 thinking they would invade, now Im 70/30 thinking they wont. Again who knows.
I agree 2k troops and 3 carriers is that island, not an invasion force. Also that this air intervention has been nothing but a giant waste of time and money that anyone half competent could have seen coming.

I'm heckin' sitting on an entire 14600k build I got the parts for because I got the CPU for free after catching the scammer trying to reseal a bad CPU and it was still under warranty (Intel honored it, the receipt part is tricky) since like somewhere in 2025, before the RAM crisis. Motherboard and 9070 xt have probably accumulated so much condensation, they won't work. I'm still just using my 5700x PC, because I'm proud of having bought THAT one for $99 waiting for the 5700X3D to drop in price to something as reasonable, which it never did.

You can go with your bank's app if they have one. Tech is good because it goes up, but there's different approaches to investing of course. What works for him might not work for you, psychologically speaking. You could diversify into different sectors, or go for broad index ETFs and VOO & chill, or you could go for leveraged shit and sweat a bit. Some like to farm divvies with stuff like SCHD, some like to buy low cap pennystocks hoping they'll 10x, it's all up to you.
You're entering at an interesting and volatile time. But volatility is also opportunity.

A little ashamed to say that I had to look up a lot of what that meant but thanks. My first instinct right now is doing something like getting 2 or 3 stocks of Nvidia since I’ve seen it go up recently and it’s still pretty cheap for a big tech stock. As for voo that’s at like 700 and change right now so I’ll just go with schd until it to goes down. Btw is it better to go through a broker or just do this independently?
