If shit actually went down, it would just a matter of time before people hauling around a bunch of gold gets robbed or confiscated at a checkpoint or border crossing. Meanwhile Bitchads could walk around with a seedphrase for millions in bitcoin securely stored inside their own head or asshole (whichever they prefer). Bitcoin simply has a ton of logistical advantages over gold.
