What? No, the exact opposite is the case. It's merely a matter of setting and making it look high profile and serious.

Yes, and they simple hide or disguise their gambling. They also explicitly cheat but make it look like they gambled and won.

Hope this helps.

The real problem is that most gamblers just don't know when to stop gambling.

There was a famous gambler (White Whale) that lost $100M (basically all his money) on October 10th. Sure, you can say that he'd never have reached $100M in the first place if he weren't a gambler, but bro, just know when to stop.

The normiesphere is fascinating

They always believe they're profitable gamblers, because they minimize the hundred losses and just remember the one time that 7 leg parlay hit and they won $500

To call them out on it, even if you're just trying to be helpful, is like a faux pa, you're supposed to just nod and agree and say "dude that's crazy"

In general, people with a gambling problem tend not to stay rich.

In specific for lottery tickets, part of what people are paying for is the daydream of it hitting and their life changing. The shittier someone's life is (financially) to begin with, the better that daydream feels.

Many a noble lost their lands and titles at gaming tables

wrong op. check out the history of statistics. rich gentry in france used to gamble degenerately so much that they had to invent a new branch of math to try to win more. also i'm sure u saw that saudi royal getting whisked away by security when that boomer shot up a concert from the casino hotel.

Why did the Klingon guy say "loosing"?
>>
>doesn't even know about the chink that lost like 200 million in vegas
>doesn't know that stocks is gambling

Gambling is just a dysfunctions behavioral loop like alcoholism/addiction that tends to segregate with the poors along with other dysgenic traits

Rich people don't care about the kind of gambling you have access to. Other than horses and Chemin de Fer, you've never even heard of the ways the actually rich like to gamble.
