Who will buy the Boomers $1.6M homes?
>>
Private equity
>>
Its worse in Canada.
>>
>>62751237
Even they're not touching this shit anymore
>>
>>62751279
Nah youre right, this is why I can't wait for a market crash and full boomer death.
>>
>>62751237
jews receive free money from the printer (billions in bailouts)
give money to boomers
Zoomers starve in the streets or live in trailer parks.
>>
>$1.6m homes nobody wants
>i know what i got

Oh no my house that was worth $800k in 2019 that I bought for $400k in 2001 is now only worth 1.55 million. What ever shall I do?
>>
>>62751236
other boomers
>>
>>62751236
boomers will have to lower their asking price

>they do need to downsize just to live

Oh no, poor babies :(
>>
>>62751236
They can go fuck themselves. Lower the price, house market crash do that everyone can buy for a normal price. Cannot wait till it happens.
>>
>>62751323
Even they aren't going to touch a 1.6 soon to be 700k house once private equity has to dump their own houses to cover the AI bubble bursting. Only people who would buy in this market want to live here forever, which is kinda based but in the most jewish way possible.

Boomers deserve all the pain they feel. You don't blow all your income on living loud and rely on inflation adjusted housing prices to provide your retirement. As soon as the desperate boomers start taking 50% reductions on their property to land a sale, the dominoes should fall.
>>
oh look its another thread of poor losers in apartments hoping they can get housing to crash the 90% it would need for them to actually afford a house

dream on losers, with the way money is being printed by the government real estate is only going up
>>
>mom has a big piece of property
>set up for hosting, surrounded by nature
>has no interest in hanging out with family
>>
>>62752128
sounds based, that's why I live in a house in the middle of the woods too, so nobody fucking bothers me
>>
The plan was for landlords to use air BnB to fill them with 30 Indians
>>
>>62752125

Nominal housing prices crabbing while inflation runs hot achieves the same thing (and unlike a sharp nominal drop, has a good chance of happening)
>>
>>62751236
My boomer dad cashed out in 2021 for 1.7 mil at the peak and moved to a smaller place in Victoria where the luckiest boomers in Canada are.
He doesnt give a fuck about anything.

>I own 200k worth of worthless terrain I shat out a hovel on out in the middle of Nojobs, Bumfuck nowhere you guys are poor!
>>
>>62751236
If no one wants them for 1.6M then they're not worth 1.6M.

And no, I don't care what your broker tells you.

Probably closer to 200k
>>
>>62751279
Yeah, I don't understand the Blackstone meme. They're evil, not stupid.
>>
>>62751236
The upkeep on these cardboard/glue homes is outrageous and the property tax is more than most salaries
>>
OP's pic is from a New Zealand news website, he left that detail out probably for better baiting. Our housing bubble was shocking and made 10x worse by Jacinda and Grant Robertson's policies during pandemic but it seems to have burst in the last year or 2. But there are constantly news articles trying to gin up a recovery, it's gross. Boomer columnists frantically pumping out articles about how we need more indians to pay for pensions
>>

>>62752576
Single family homes are awful investments. I barely want to own the one I live in.
>>
>>62751283
>trailer parks.
These are even too expensive now, private equity are buying them up and increasing lot rent to drive everyone out.

private equity is buying up trailer parks
please tell me, youre joking
>>
>>62752714
>>62752706
unironically true but only because its high margin and they need to offset other things
dealing with poors is a pain and the reason the margins are so high is cause tenants are poor and stupid and dont pay on time or not at all
>>
>>62752220
it's either worthless or it's worth 200k, make up your mind
>>
>>62752125
> oh look its another thread of poor losers in apartments hoping they can get housing to crash the 90% it would need for them to actually afford a house
Kek this.
>>62752576
You’re poor.
>>
>>62752125
>housing go up
Until it affects wages similarly no it isn't, thats what every boomer cited in the OP is only now beginning to understand. They can continue to list real estate following money supply growth and they can continue to not sell houses. They won't buy your McMansion at market price when they can buy one at auction, every buyer now at inflated premium and higher rates represents a growing credit risk. We'll build AI enough so it can make more high paying white collar jobs obsolete and pick it up once they foreclose.
>>
>>62752978
At least boomers live in houses while zoomers cucks live in apartments.
>>
>>62752978
Shut up rentoid.

that's all fake news. they sold a trailer park for 200k at my local foreclosure auction last week. if private equity were interested it would have never gone to auction

Mortgage rates getting around 8% so the housing market is frozen for the foreseeable future. Boomers will literally die before dropping the price.
>>
>>62753642
Then let them die in their over priced shit
