Like when you trade stock on Robinhood, Robinhood is just the front end like a guy yelling prices on the street, but then the order goes to a clearinghouse who has to execute the trade. Trading websites are basically frauds because they show the price of stock at what the clearinghouse paid them to sell it or buy it at. That practice is banned in Europe but not in the US.
