Normies think 1 million dollars is a lot of money
>>
>>62759547
the potential for 1m now is a lot so 1m is a lot in a bear market, peak euphoria it wont do shit lol
>>
>>62759547
Normies make like what post tax? $4k if they're lucky? Would take them 20 years of work to make $1 million. In that sense it's a lot
>>
>>62760165
The bottom 50% own 2.5% of the wealth
>>
>>62759547
Homeowners don't
>>
>>62760169
Yes even though $1 million is hardly anything to buy you much of anything it still takes a lot to earn it
>>
>>62759547
I mean it *is* a lot of money but it's also a very annoying amount of money to have.

It's enough money that you can be set for life... in 15-20 years if you're careful with it and don't spend a penny of it on some bullshit.
>>
>>62759547
Because it is. I'd be glad to get my claws on $1 mil. It would drastically change the trajectory of the life of my family.
>>
>>62759547
If it's not a lot of money you should give it to me.

And before any jannies get mad at me for breaking rules I want to be crystal clear.

This is me begging. I am begging.

I used to think that until I turned 16, and everything started getting way too expensive, now I don't even feel like buying a house anymore
I feel like even if I have a job, I'll end up living under a bridge when I'm 70
>>

>I'll end up living under a bridge when I'm 70
This is why you have at least 2-3 kids and mooch of them in old age. Say what you will about third world era but they got this right.
>>
If you let it compound for like 10 years you already got 3.5 million. By the time most people reach that amount their dick doesn´t work anymore.
>>
Invest and forget, won't have to work till you are 80 or dead. Sounds like a lot to me.

>>
>>62759547
That is a lot of money, you can start a family on that.

Not own a house anywhere, but you can start a family.

>>
Can I have a million dollars then? If the answer is no, it's clearly a substantial amount to you.
>>
>>62769301
Back off bitch, I asked first
>>
>>62759547
you don't have a million dollars, kiddo
>>
>>62770013
>>62770013
You'll need a second opinion. Transfer me the million when you get it and I'll opine if its alot or not
>>
Million is perfect for me. I'm pretty close but I'm old and decrepit 30 year old boomer status which sucks. I get $4150, in gibs from veteran benefits, no property taxes and have tricare health ins. So a million at even 4% return would be solid for around $8500 a month for me in a lcol area. Probably couldnt quit my job but i could stop giving a fuck, forever.
>>
>>62764969
In the past year I've realized that since all I'm going to do is read, game, and work out when I'm retired that I really don't need that much. 1 million is probably fine.
>>
>>62765408
Disgusting. People lack vision. I would 10x it and then use 20% of that 10x to build minicastle inspired by the PDX airport.
>>
>>62759547
It isn't a lot if you're just sticking in your checking account and spending it. If you invest it wisely though you can live off the interest as long as you're able to get by on about 50k a year. You wouldn't be rich but you would have considerably less stress in your life. You just need to find a woman that would agree to live like that and raise children at home instead of going crazy and spending it all on vacations and fancy clothes and purses. That's the really tough part.
>>
>>62764638
Lol
