I have a background in tech but like fuck man is everyone at Best Buy such a nig? I need some way to make money so I can buy more drives
In the developed world, working retail is the closest thing to being a modern day slave. Any interview for a retail job will be a measurement of how much of a depraved slave you are. If you're not slavish enough you won't get the job.

If you're working retail you need to basically have good salesman/customer service skills. Pretend to give a fuck about people and you'll go far. I found it easy to do the job 15+ years ago because I grew up Catholic and helping the retarded and poor was just something I accepted as part of being a good person.

I'm really struggling to find an employer that doesn't either dismiss me when I ask about a job in shop, or completely ghost any applications I send. I'm applying for shit wagie jobs like being a waiter but none of them are getting any results. I've been unemployed for months now and the government denied my jobseekers allowance for no reason. I'll run out of money to pay rent and buy food in 1 month, what the fuck do I do if I haven't gotten a job by then?
