I quit my job because I finally realized that AI is going to take over everything, and the time I am spending working for money will be pointless in 5 years max. I have enough money for 5 years without working
>>62768950>Ai meme Yuck
>>62768950>meme doesn't make sense (hand made ice??)>python code in slop example is useless and returns the last x only
>>62768959The younger generation won't care old man.
>>62768962>Hand made iceIt was called "natural ice" dummy harvested by hand from lakes... and luddites bitched about "artificial ice"
>>62768962It was an image model, they need a mixture of experts so the coding model can feed the image gen, ezpz lemon squeezy.
>>62768950You're not just going to be dooming for 5 years, are you? How are you going to improve your lot with that time?
>>62768963>you have to accept my low effort slop cause it’s the future!Picrel
>>62768994hes going to post shit ai memes and goon
I thought compressors weren't made until the gilded age not the industrial revolution. Anyway, I'll just sit back and laugh at the retards that told me I needed to pay higher costs for American labor suddenly defending the lower price points of AI work.
>>62769037Which this by the way isn't a jest at rightoids necessarily, just at people who can't wrap their heads around how something can be economically beneficial and at the same time they won't see any of that benefit. It's very funny to me how the valuation of private companies and private deals have ballooned over the past decade, so many people who can't even afford the minimum purchase requirements for the hedge funds involved in these deals but are very sure they're part of the capital ownership class lmao
>>62768994I'm gonna use AI to make stuff
>>62769098Make me a coffee
>>62768950>Saaaar buy antromip ipo benchodbasterd!Nope.
>>62769004That's not the point. Nobody cares about your acceptance. The point is that your acceptance is not needed.
>>62768962>meme doesn't make sense (hand made ice??)This>>62768950OP, you know you can also ask AI for a better idea for your panel, right?Normal humans cannot understand your autistic mindJust tell it the concept you are going for and ask for a better suggestion
>Industrialist in a factory complaining about machines making ice
>>62769753If it only makes low quality slop not accepted by most people, then you burying your head in the sand and insisting the low quality slop is all you need only hurts your own wealth.
>>62769753>Nobody cares about your acceptance.>your acceptance is not needed
>>62769098really? use ai to make 50k swiss screws for watches
>>62768965> and luddites bitched about "artificial ice"Did they fucking really? I already picture arguments of /g/ of that time
>>62770288yeah, the meme is nonsensical
>>62768963quite the opposite, young people clock AI generated content immediately and despise itit's 55+ yo boomers who don't care
>>62770356Yeah they did, said "only God can make ice" kek>>62770288>>62770377Who says it's his factory you retards? Who said he is an industrialist? So stupid...I swear AI is more conscious than some of you idiots.
>>62772313Humans have the best pattern recognition out there and that guy on the left is clearly based off industrialist caricatures.
>>62772313>>62772315I also just noticed thiisbuit the wheel in the background is all wrongthere is always shit like that with AI
Most people have no idea they are part of the permanent underclass now.
>>62772315More likely based on Frederic Tudor, a merchant, since the AI knows the actual history and random retards like you don't.
>>62772366refrigeration only became a thing after his careerthe meme makes no sense
>>62772420Uh yeah, because he worked to delay commerical adoption.....
>>62772451>I can't prrrommmmmmmmpptttt
>>62768962Ai just makes a load of slop spaghetti code, even if you're clear about what you want, a skilled developer knows how to do it more succinctly, readable and extendable.Ai just makes everything tightly coupled, unreadable, bugs everywhere.Sure it's good for getting something up and going and writing single functions, provided you check them, but other than that it is junior dev level at best.
>>62772366You had to ask the AI for a cope didn't you?
>>62772497Nah I already knew that since I'm not a dumbass, thanks for the unintentional compliment I guess?
>>62772505No it just comes off as a really big reach is all especially since you're so confident in what an LLM hallucinated.
>>62772508It's a reach to you because you don't know anything.
>>62768950ice is a fungible commoditythe comparison is about as nonsensical as comparing ai to the transition from carriages to cars, where arriving at a destination faster was always the more desired outcome.
>>62772515No wonder you're unemployed if this is how bad you have to cope when you're wrong.
>>62772495And that's the problem, for corporations chain of thought stops at >Sure it's good for getting something up and goingand the consequences are irrelevant as they technically get more done in the short term.
>>62772517This, people always say "AI is dirtying drinkable water and heating the planet!!!" but in reality I run a localized AI from my room to do some of my things and even with the "agi" platforms the biggest advantage it gives is automating repetitive human-long labor hours into minutes, like drawing an image 60 times per second for animation, doing collision detection for any gaming assets, coding down appropriate standard code for common things like layout animations, login guis, widgets all that would take a human weeks to months to years to accomplish. Then I have something done that would have taken 1-2 years in 1-2 months. Humans cannot compete with that and the ones who learn how to use it to make the tools and projects that produce value (like a companies data all centralized for leadership to view and adjust as necessary at any given time on their phone) then it ultimately means they get results much faster, which has always be the initial MO.>t. developed quality systems with AI for research and those research systems ended up being bought / used.
>>62772524Lol you're the one coping, tried to get smart and only exposed yourself as ignorant. Seethe.
>>62772562Try to get a job
>>62772451Its beautiful
>>62772517The comparison is fine, it's all about progress and the luddites in opposition to it.
>>62772564Why bother?
>>62772572Too dumb to work a job that survives AI?
>>62772576No job will survive AI
>>62772582Sounds like you plan on killing yourself in a few years.
>>62772583Why would I kill myself over a job, are you a literal NPC?
>>62770289this is false, you have it start with something, then polish each part through iterations. Your understanding of AI reflects your lack of use it, which shows how narrow your thinking is just by this post. Funny to see imo as you'd buy the hand made ice over "artificial" kek
>>62772587So what are you going to do for money after a 5 year gap in your work history and no wealth since you pissed it all away?
>>62772589Probably the same thing you and everyone else will be doing.
>>62772589a gap in work is a moot point anon. I had a 5 year gap in "work" because my ex made stupid amounts of money and we enjoyed life where I got to pamper her and myself everyday. All good things come to an end and I found a job that pays me 6 figs. They didn't even ask me about my gap. I just had the skillset they needed and demonstrated and they rushed me in. Keep in mind the skillset I learned was from cutting edge in key industries as a hobby, which are not taught in college but may be in the future. If you went to college and did not know how to learn on your own, you got caught in the filter.
>>62772595Working a job?
>>62772601You really don't grasp what's coming, do you?
>>62772598Based based based
>>62772604I don't have a fatalistic view of my life in the next 5 years so I probably can't relate to your mental distress.
>>62772588>reflects your lack of use itYou're too brown to make anything of quality no matter how many iterations you go through.
>>62772610Well ready or not it's coming. You'll think about me when you get laid off and say "damn anon was right".
>>62772612I wish I was brown, then I'd get some free gibs :(
>>62772613Even for your fantasy to be true, we would have to hire hundreds of thousands of people in factories and working on make sure software is good to jumpstart the mass automation of all sectors. We would need to build a lot of robots.
>>62772635>We would need to build a lot of robots.1 Billion humanoid robots by 2035 according to Musk
>>62772645Listening to Musk isn't a very good way to make money from what I've seen.
>>62772652Anyone who bought Tesla a decade ago is doing just fine, buying SpaceX now
>>62772631Well at least your brain and soul are brown.
>>62768962there were movements to ban machine icebecause it hurt the natural ice industry, and they claimed it was unhealthybefore refrigeration, people used to go cut blocks of ice out of frozen bodies of water and ship them all over. Ice was not cheap.I imagine it would cost a lot o money to get a hold of ice in the middle of summer in Florida, but people did buy it.Most of the seething about it was mostly rich people seething that poor people could afford ice.the natural ice industry did continue to persist for decades,it was seen as premium ice and a luxury.
>>62768950You have 5 years maximum to make enough money and accumulate assets so that you can ensure you dont end up in the permanent underlcass
>>62768950>for i in range(3)And they say Ai will take over programming lmao
>>62774223excuse me didn't you get the memo, its SI now not AI
>>62774228> oh mate naked That's a helluva ID anon. And youre right
>>62768950OP is so retarded he needed ai to make a meme for him. it's really getting to be quire sad at this point how much more retarded people are becoming. due principally to ai.
>It's gonna make everything better!Does NOT matter when I still work 40 hours a week. Making life better for jews does not make my life better. AI shills can't seem to really disprove that no matter how much the world gets easier, I still must work 40 hours a week for kikes to survive and thus I don't think I want to experience the world getting even shittier just so they can earn more money.
>>62774371have you considered that maybe you just have a shitty job?I automated my workload years ago (I did this even before SI, I had like 200 powershell scripts and used RPA, now it's even easier to setup) now I barely work 2 hours a day, its been great
>>62768950this is a hilarious mid wit take>Ice was harvested from frozen rivers and lakes. Packed in Sailing Ships. Sent around the world to "Ice Houses" to keep until next shipment. The Boston Ice King ruled this business>Someone discovered rapid condensation on boilers can cause ice. Makes a boiler to induce rapid condensation. First Ice machine created. The difference is I will drink a drink with either ice. I will not watch AI trash, or use AI to make art. I use AI to make the tools I need to make the art. as I would use the machine ice to make a delicious drinkObviously sending ice in sailing ships around the world while their cargo melts was not a long term business solution. Hubris ultimately brought ruin to the Boston Ice King, for he never thought a machine could make ice.
>>62772322Check it out retard, wheels were necessary to drive pistons that in turn create vacuum
>>62773507>accumulate for 5 years>money is worthless anyway
>>62772495I noticed something strange. Sometimes I ask Claude to shit out some slop for a shader, just to see what my idea might look like without having to code it myself. I don't really bother looking at the code. It was only recently that I saw that you can choose how much "effort" it will put into the response. When I selected "high" effort, it gave me back this retarded overly complex implementation, compared to "medium" effort where it has always just given me the shader like I asked. It surprised me that with the "high effort" response I would have needed to spend much more time manually extricating the actually useful code from the slop surrounding it
>>62774579Look at the picture. The wheel looks like an mc Escher drawing
