ICP is the ultimate decentralized cloud web.3.0 that is secured against AI hacks. AI has already proven to be able to reverse engineer and decompile any type of software for example they put the Xbox version of Halo CE in a web browser, they reverse engineered adobe photoshop. Software is now 100% open source because of AI. What will companies do? They will go to the cloud! The ICP cloud that is AI proof. This is the narrative for $100+ ICP. People that are smarter than me, pls debate if I am retard or if I am correct
Whoop whoop!

Am I smarter than biz? So far seems that way….
i have been drinking piss
>>62770964If you're talking about decompiling the original source code or soem functional C equivalent like ghidra, AI isn't exactly doing that. It just seems to be very good at reverse engineering functionality to something that seems more adjacent to emulation than decomplication to me (based on whatever available execution bytecode.) Having said that since cloud engines allow you to actually run the executable on your own nodes rather than shared, you can protect that bytecode. It's cool, but it makes me wonder if people doing these reverse engineers will get to a point where one could just screen record the application and describe it to claude and come up with a pretty accurate "emulation" of the software...
>>62771447The screen recording would have to go through everything for it to accurately build a copy. If anything is missing then it may omit a critical feature. If AI gets to this point then all software no matter what protections are put in place will be reverse engineered
>>62770964AI is going to become so powerful that the famous "secure cloud" won't actually be secure...
>>62770964>/biz/ - Business & FinanceICP is a joke, my friend. It started with a monumental rug-pull, became a vehicle for Moonman's demented ramblings, and now hovers below £3.
>>62772436But I’ve seen the tech, it works…. It can;t be jeet scam. It is legit and has a chance to explode in price, all it takes is a catalyst to take effect and the mass adaption will happen over night. It is only a matter of time, the market is sidelined because they only chase narratives and not the tech
>>62772419That's pretty trivial, considering you're trying to build an app. Adobe has several critical features that are purposely taken out (for the sake of being an open source product.>If AI gets to this point then all software no matter what protections are put in place will be reverse engineeredYes, but you should mostly be worried about protections against the original codebase (everything reverse engineered is an approximation). For instance if you have some banking software you can technically reverse engineer it but having a single source of truth to check against, which blockchain/a cloud blockchain provides more securely than the current cloud services, could alleviate some of these security risks. I think this is mostly why even VB is moving towards a similar model (albeit scaling with offchain zks)

>>62773216>>62773277kek>>62770964good idea OPAI can still remake the software features though. You don't need access to the compiled source code anymore. That's what the Photoshop guy did. The ai looked at Photoshop features and coded them up from scratch.
