Why haven't they done executive member only warehouses yet?

Costco products are high quality and there have been independent studies on a lot of it too (ie. Meat, dairy, etc). It’s not slop that’s coming off the same assembly line that other stores use where they all slap their own sticker on it.

Multiple sources have found it’s better than most places supply and you can get better deals. Not to mention you can stack golf and silver from them as well as cheap gas discounted gift cards imported food for much cheaper than the store down the road

>not buying a year worth of groceries and storing it in the 10 freezers you have at home
im half joking because i do this but for 2 month instead, are you even savingmaxxing? costco is the best place to do that for food
>>
>>62771956
>are you even savingmaxxing?
No because if they did they wouldn’t have much to complain about on rebbit and they’d have some self control

walmart is eating into target and amazon’s profits

It doesn’t make their products better though. They also have supercenters all around the country, including a lot of flyover shitholes where it’s the only place for people to go. Years ago I bought a large roll pack of their ground beef thinking I was smart buying in bulk and saving money. When I opened that shit, it looked like a mash of light pink dough. Even their flavorless fruits and vegetables are shit quality. Fuck Walmart

I feel like I'm at the goycattle circus anytime I'm inside a Costco or Sam's Club. Just odd dystopian vibes.

Walmart is about 100× worse. They literally corral you in a big slaughterhouse line to the self checkout register.
>>
>>62771454
Most of their clients are executives. They already are essentially an executive members only club. In fact it's a bit weird if you're a member and don't own a business.
>>

It’s a place to shop like any other it’s just bigger. Even the bongs have them at this point you’re buying milk and cheap chicken to save cash I understand the whole Idiocracy meme but geez

I live with my parents, they pay for everything.
>>

And think both them and Sam's have executive hours where for an hour or two you can shop only if you pay for the higher tier card.

Serious question, why does costco have such a cult following?

I don't have one near enough to me to really bother with, but I did go frequently with a friend's card a while back when my commute took me past one for a temp job a while back. Bluntly, the store fucking sucked. It felt like they rearranged half the store every 3 days. Not once were things in the same places as they were the previous week. I'm convinced that if they could move the freezers around they would have. They clearly wanted people stuck roaming the isles so they could get you to impulse buy a bunch of shit. Complete waste of time.

Their electronics and appliances sucked. The model numbers on a lot of their products are slightly different, and if you look into it online you find that they're selling shittier versions of stuff. Plastic gears instead of metal in a mixer, shittier versions of TVs that are missing inputs and have worse speakers (not that you shouldn't be using a receiver with proper speakers). Electric toothbrushes and razors with smaller batteries and fewer accessories. Probably shittier motors too. Don't get me wrong, walmart does the same shit for a lot of stuff, but Costco quality strikes me as a joke.

Food prices weren't notably better than my local grocery store with the exception of meat. Slightly better quality meats at slightly lower prices. Certainly not enough to justify an extra 20 minutes of driving in each direction.

I priced out a set of tires there and those seemed to actually be a halfway decent deal. Thing is, even with my shorter life ultra performance tires I only buy summer tires every 3 years. Beyond that I didn't actually see much that was notably good. I'm sure I missed things because I only went about 8 times over 2 months.

Oh also, what the fuck is it with retards just standing in the aisles gawking? I have never seen so many literal NPCs in my existence, and I worked at a theme park as a teenager, so the bar's pole vaulting tier. Costco sailed over it with ease. If you don't hit the store during quiet hours it's literally impossible to walk straight down an aisle. You are constantly having to weave around people parking their carts perpendicularly in the aisles. I started pulling my cart and just shoving people's carts out of the way. I have never had to do that in any other store in my life.

It's always browns too, and their whole family. juan brings his wife, his 6 kids, his parents, his wife's parents, and two cousins just to block the aisles
