Me: “AI can’t replace me. I am an accountant manager. Someone has to take responsibility when things go wrong.”CEO: “Great. We’ll fire 3 of you, give the remaining 2 AI, and make them responsible for the work of all 5. How should I even reply? I have spent years in this profession. It is who I am, it is my purpose, it is my identity.
>>62772302>accountant managerYou mean accounting manager? How’s the weather in Mumbai?
>>62772302If your job is your identity then you're failing at life.whenever you meet an American the first question they always ask you is what do you do. Pathetic.
>>62772308European = loser, so people don’t need to adk.
>>62772302Management is the easiest skill to outsource to AI. Buy shares of the company, go to the quarterly shareholder meeting, and add a vote to the docket to replace the CEO with AI. Do this at every quarterly meeting forever. If you get let go keep going and doing this. CEO salaries are the largest form of bloat/wasted overhead that can be easily streamlined.
>>62772302Git gud so you're one of the 2
>>62772364> CEO salaries are the largest form of bloat/wasted overhead that can be easily streamlined.Wrong. So wrong. Wage broke slave mentality.
>>62772305it's accountanttard. He's been posting this "AI is taking over accounting" shit at least once a week for the last 3 years.
I used to work in audit and risk and sox. Most of the actual controls testing is procedural bullshit and the hardest part is just hounding people to get you what you need to check a box. Worse it's the same controls over and over and very little creative thinking. I don't see how 70% of the grunt work auditor work can't be automated out and it's just a few senior slaves who review the workpapers. The muh man in the middle argument can be said of any department and I don't see how accounting and audit have some superior protection
