Idk, how fucked are you?

This needs to be broken down by region. It may very well mean that places in the middle of nowhere are getting hollowed out but demand is keeping up in desirable areas.

It's crazy how large part of rural societies are just dying - at least in the west.
It's getting masked by little change in regional population size, but there is and has been a steady exodus from small towns and rural communities into the cities. Doesn't have to be a big city either, could be a slightly larger town.

You ideally want this to happen so prices come down though. The issue is the USG injected 200 billions into MBS this year so boomers don't lose their net worth.

Maybe they should decrease the price they want to sell for if they want people to buy. You know, supply and demand and all that.

The fed needs to stop being so autustic about getting inflation to 2% and just lower rates.

I want a garage to work on cars in and a basement to store my shit in, I think housing should drop

>lower rates
>inflation pumps
>still can't afford the now more expensive house
Or am I reading the tea leaves wrong?

Hardly shocking, people have been moving away from the country to the cities since the dawn of the industrial revolution.
