With rates at 7% should I put all my 400k portfolio down on a house or keep it invested in like VTSAX, put 0 down and just pay monthly?

getting kicked out of my current rental and asking myself this. i like my nest egg so much, even a money market that amount prints $1k a month... hard to dump it all into a house that will need maintenance or tank in value.

best case? it keeps going up and you realize the gains in 5-10 years?
>>
Does your invests make more than 7% annually? If yes then keep investing. If no then pay off the house. It's not rocket science it is that simple.

You can predict the market accurately anon?

7% is far too high for paying back. You should be at least in the double percentile.
