Faggots who bought thousands of bitcoins for 20 cents each in 2009, then held it religiously till now, where are they now? What are they doing? are they lurking here now?
>>627794231. here2. shitposting3. not just lurking, no
>>62779423They’re all dead or sold or lost their keys. Would be surprised if there is more than ten in the entire world who held that long and still have access to their keys now.
I had 20,000 bitcoin and spent almost all of it on weed and pizza. Found a hard drive that should have 9 btc on it, I just need to get it started and wallah!
>>62779464This. Many of them probably roped. And others were hunted down and killed.
>>62779464>>62779475Why would they be dead when money buys happiness and a castle with 20 armed body guards? Are you guys coping and projecting bullshit coz you jealous or what? Your logic is weak coz by this logic all the world's billionaires would be dead yet they're not and thriving.
What actually happened is that us true, real OGs saw btc hit 1$, then sold half. I remember buying a Toyota Corolla and feeling like I'm the smartest person in the world. Then it hit 10$, and we sold half. Then 100$, then 1000$, and 10000$ and by then we had all wisened up and stopped selling halfs.... I've got 1/32th of my original stack left.
>>62779423I'm friends with the head of a large crypto OTC desk and he says virtually everyone who made a lot of money off early BTC and held was already rich from other businesses or jobs. I mean think about it, if you're a broke 26 year old you aren't going to hold millions of dollars worth of fictional internet tokens. At a certain point you cash out
>>62779468>Found a hard drive that should have 9 btc on it, I just need to get it started and wallah! If you really do have keys stuck on a dead drive, data recovery is surprisingly cheap nowadays for non-wrecked drives. About US$1500 on the high end. It's only when you start getting into Seagate drives with their constant headcrashes that you need to start worrying about the expense ratio of recovering BTC versus "holy shit they want how much?!?!?"Remember, kids, friends don't let friends use Seagate.
>>62779423>remember seeing BTC shilled on /b/ and /g/ back when it was pennies>didn't buy any because I thought it was a scam
>>62779423Still holding and will never sell.1BTC = 1BTC
>>62779496When you’ve been investing long enough you’ll find that almost no one buys the bottom and hold through to the top.
>>62779423If I were that lucky, I wouldn't even bother coming here, I'd probably be waiting for my butler to make me some Mexican food while I jerk off on my private yacht
>>62779592Same, I had an opportunity to buy 1000 dollars worth of BTC back in 2010. I said no because it looked like a scam.
