I picked up a good amount just by traveling to Colombia and Mexico a few time in the past.>>62792914I could keep a basic medical-related convo going over the past few years because I had a lot of Spanish-speaking customers at my job. But I had a lot of holes in my knowledge since I had never learned a lot of concepts. I think Duolingo helped plug in many of those holes. I also listen to B2-C1 level podcasts and read Spanish subreddits. I have a trip to Spain at the end of next month so I'll see how much better I can listen and speak.

I retired in my 20s. It is pretty comfy, especially in today’s climate where being by yourself is so comfy and how anything can be bought and paid for. Also, the seethe and envy of the have nots is icing on the cake.
