What is it like to not have go work for a living?
ask a toddler, suck on tiddies and shit in your pants, thats how they live
>>62801353I honestly think most people don’t know what it is like to not have to work for a living. Retirement is a thing of the past too.
you stop thinking about blowing your brains out every other day
Bliss.
>>62801339it's boring. i initially retired 4 years ago, but then took up part time work because i had too much free time.
A lot of sleep and audiobooks, as well as podcasts
>>62801339>sleep until you naturally wake up>scroll phone for like an hour until you are comfy with getting up from bed>bathroom>go to pc, /biz/ and other shit>eating small thing>pc>shopping before wagies make everything ful at late noon>cook main dish>evening activity>late night pc
>>62801450>late noon*early evening
>>62801392this means you're not actually human
>>62801392Slave.
>>62801367This>>62801392Cringe, KYS
>>62801359Disregard the idiots shitting on you for this. Your brain commits suicide if you dont make it work. Your decision was a good one anon. You can work the brain by learning new stuff or travelling if you have money but working is fine too if you work for fun and not for money.I have spent many years not working and i always returned to work cause its actually giving pleasant challenge.
>>62801450this is me also, even though i have the entire day free i dont feel like playing games, i just scroll 4chan and tiktok
31 and never had a job, just got into crypto at the right time back in the day and have been investing ever sincenot working is genuinely the best but if you're a nigger faggot with no drive then you're going to get bored of doing nothing, having hobbies is fun but you're a fucking retard if you go back to work because of 'too much free time'honestly, the only thing that is shit about it all is that everyone else around you is likely still a wagie and is always occupied with something, so you spend a lot of time alone; if you do find people with more free time likely they're just other richfags but tend to be insufferable and just slaves to social media for their ego boosts anyway
>>62801339Frees up your time to learn a lot of 'self-sufficiency' skills. Look into how your chosen living area is vulnerable to economic impact, supply chain weaknesses, the history of natural disasters.By being better prepared for the future you won't lose as much when unfortunate events occur and you won't have to spend as much to rebuild your living standard. There's plenty to keep busy with you just have to take the time and look around, just like most had to in order to find assets that could generate enough of a return to free them from work life.
>>62801646> Disregard the idiots shitting on you for thisBro who is shitting on me? No one even replied to me. >>62801450Sounds comfy and very underrated.
>>62801339It's not actually that great. Just like everything else in life, you desperately want it until you actually have it. What remains is the exact same sense of malaise and discontentment, except this time it's for no reason.
>>62801903This seems like a you problem.
>>62801339its more stressful than an actual job because you gotta make sure the system that is generating you money is working as intended 24/7home ownership for example is a nightmare to deal withliving off a 401k is probably the easiest

>>62801339Boring and constant anxiety trying to find what to do, seeing how your days feel short as fuck and going to bed thinking you didn't do anything.
>>62802048Just use condoms, that's my thing. I have at least one girl I see at least once a week. Shes adamant about using condoms during sex but will give me a bbj since I'm a regular.

>>62802055If you have a cut in your mouth it can be transmitted.
>>62802060in most amateur porns i watch hookers dont kiss even when the guy attempts it. would it be pathetic to ask or just try to kiss her?
>>62802081Just ask, your paying her after all lol
>>62802049>seeing how your days feel short as fuckLiterally how?You know, when I go to buy my lunch I sometimes see this homeless guy just standing around with his plastic bag of drinks, either sipping one and looking at the street, or sometimes reading a newspaper, or smoking. I wonder, does he ever think that the time is dragging too slowly? I have thoughts like that over weekend, but I gotta go to the job when it's over. He doesn't.
>>62801921> home ownership for example is a nightmare to deal withPretty relaxing, that’s a you problem. > system that is generating you money is working as intended 24/7Get a manager.
>>62802081Then she doesn’t find you attractive. Hookers and wagies are people too lol and just because someone is working doesn’t mean they cannot like you
>>62802097It depends I guess. If you’re comfortably retired, time flies. That’s why a stereotypical thing rich people say is “there isn’t enough time.” Like you are having such a good time but time flies by. But half an hour at work feels like hours.
I haven't worked since last year Summer. It's as great as most sensible people imagine. I've got time to focus on my hobbies and gf everyday. It's scary how quickly time is moving forward. My gf recently pointed out that we visited Japan exactly one year ago but it feels way more recent than that. Before I know it I'll be 40, 45, 60, etc...
>>62801353>suck on tiddies >shit pants Yeah I’m thinking based
>>62801339I got 80% VA disability. I worked until 30 after having 500k saved up and then retired. My wife makes like 140k as an accountant at a big firm. I'm a stay at home dad now and I get a housing stipend to take classes with the GI Bill. I'm learning to play the violin and writing a book

Sounds like NEETdom comes with challenges regardless of how much money you have.
>>62801361unemployed here, I think about that more often actually
Beeing a based edgy need has its risk. You gotta build some discipline or you will end up in this loop of everday going to sleep later and later, and waking up later and later. I let myself go and now I'm going to sleep at 9 am and waking up at 15:00. Up and ready for the US market open but this is not healthy! The rest is perfect :)
The six weeks after having quit my job while still receiving a few paychecks and living off savings was probably the most comfy time. It’s not that I did anything special, it’s just that I didn’t have to deal with other people’s bullshit, At least not at work as I still had roommates at that time which is always its own set of problems
>>62802171did u ever catch any disease from hookers?
>>62801339its great, ngl, first thing i noticed that my health increased a lot
>>62802755>to deal with other people’s bullshitthis is the main problem being a wagie, everyone is different, most people are retarded and you have to work with them, if you are retarded yourself then its fine, but if you are smarter and more capable than other, then you will be in hell, explain and teach mongoloids every day and then mongoloid manager will tell you what to do, when you already know hes fucking wrong, but you will do it anyway, because he is a fucking superior, even if hes wrong about everything, i encountered all of this hell working with morons every day, thank God i don't have to anymore...

>>62804711This just makes not working feel so much better ngl. Everyone, including themselves and their parents and grandparents had 100 years combined to make it. People who have to work for a living today lost the race and the race is now over.

From gardening, house maintenance, working out etc, if it's not on a list, and not set when I should do it, I simply won't. My mental state is super good and I love life when I do this.Whenever I stay from my routine a month can easily go by as quick as a flash. I just play vidya, consume shows, go to bed later and later, don't really eat, can't even almost be bothered to go to the store, don't want to go outside at all, and stuff just piles up and I get depressed.

>>62812466What is an exciting life?10million in assets means you make a million every few years. Lmao.
>>62812526> It's pretty obvious why we have kids and family, they give us structure.Marriage would not exist if girls didn’t hit the wall. You cannot ignore that when talking about family, marriage or kids. It isn’t some noble honorable thing you did. Girls also lower their standards once their looks start fading and marry men that they would not have fucked if she was in her prime. That’s the reality for the majority of men unfortunately. So no, for the majority of men, a family or kids isn’t some noble thing, it was just a walled female needing to settle down before being completely invisible to men.

Also, if you’re that bored just go do some volunteer work or something. It goes to a good cause (presumably) and allows you to stay somewhat structured and socially active. The problem is that work creates a surrogate social life. We spend so much time working that we either don’t have time and/or energy to do much else. Some will lean into this further and do even more work to avoid facing how empty their lives are without it.For the industrialized world life is set up in such a way that unless you’re born rich you have to keep working, you have to keep pushing, you have to advance and get that bonus or promotion because your rent or property taxes, groceries, gas, and utilities will never stop going up. Meanwhile every executive is trying to figure out a way to shave labor costs even if it is a long term sure way to ruin the company because it will trigger some bonus and investors get a few more shekels to brag about during the holidays. Being a wage slave is truly hell. The best you can hope for is to make it out. You’ll never be in the club, you didn’t go to the right schools or have the right zip code growing up.
>>62801339It would be boring to be completely without work. I could sell my company and be done with working forever but I dont want to do that. I think working part time, ~4 hrs a day, is a perfect compromise. It gives you time to enjoy life, make some money and get something productive done. Also im assuming this is part time work that is also fulfilling, not you doing call center work or other meaningless drone job.

you can have a world where everyone works 1 day a week, and you have free healthcare, food, shelter, UBI, for everyone; the only reason that world doesn't exist is because of the zero-sum negative-sum, taker, false scarcity illusion the judeo masonic abrahamic money creators prevent it. the people make the world happen, the people must control the bank. humanity has to move past the point where you work for money, to you work because work must be done, but everyone pulls their weight, issues their own coin, doing just work, moving it all forward, there are enough atoms for everyone, enough milkshakes for everyone.

I don’t know how people can get bored of retirement desu. Time is one thing you can’t buy and having an abundance of it is a blessing. I think part of the problem is that people have been programmed to not think outside the box. If someone gets bored, it’s like their mind automatically thinks about work and nothing else as if there are no other options available. Maybe they feel like work gives their life purpose or something. It’s pretty sad
