I tried to withdraw £1,500 from my bank today. The teller burst out crying and ran into the back...the manager came out and said I could have £300 max! I told him to give me my money and he said the bank was closed and they turfed everyone out! They do with this YOUR money - and then tell you BITCOIN's a 'scam'...!

I don't feel good about this and I'm crying too. I have never been more upset and nothing is going to make me feel better ever again. I have no idea what you are trying to say!

Woah I thought it was only me. I grew up in a banker town. You know the kind. Now yesterday after a hard days work at the local silver supression mill, I sat down at the bar to enjoy a nice cool bitcoin. The TV lady came on speaking about how dollars are the solution to this darn dusted economy. Well I never! The whole room erupted into a galleryoo of cries "Give us the paper!". "Show me the money".
In that moment I knew that them federal boys were going to do right by us.

I cashed out all of my AI gains because I don't like it anymore and tried to get the cash out of the bank yesterday. The teller straight out pulled a blicky on me and told me in loud whisper that he'll get my money in a couple of months and I should give him some time because he's got nothing to lose. I was really confused because in crypto you just click sell and get USDC sent to your wallet 5 seconds later

I had some old 10 year bonds in the safe that I was going to use to put a downpayment on a sub sandwich, but my car was out of diesel so I had to walk. Started treading out northbound then every flock camera within 10 yards flipped around, focusing their gaze on the bonds in my hand. Before I gathered myself, a blacked out suburban wheeled around the corner and screeched to a halt. Who else steps out but Bessent, eyes concealed by thick raybans. As he approaches he brushed back his tired blue suit jacket, revealing a set of razor sharp throwing stars of david. I was in trouble now. "W-what can I help with mr Bessent?" I moaned, "I'll be having those now." he shot back. Shakily, I handed my bonds over, and he hands back a set of oil futures. "These'll get you by". Shaken, I make my way to the Subussy. I made my order but by the time came for me to pay, the futures were worthless. Never making that mistake again

Most banks require a few days notice for exceptionally large withdrawals but will comply if you ask. This is simply because most banks aren't holding 100s of thousands of dollars at any given time, and even if they were, giving you all the days money would potentially make them unable to serve their other customers throughout the day.

Call ahead negro

maybe banks should have money in them so that we wouldn't have to schedule an appointment to make a withdrawal

You see, when you put your money in a bank, legally speaking it's no longer your money, it becomes bank's money. So when you would like to withdraw, the bank has to convenience Mr. Shnozzleberg to give the money back. It takes time to sit through tantrums. This is what fractional reserve means: you need to reserve a fraction of your time. Please understand.
