So am I just supposed to hold VOO forever or if I reasonably feel there's a market downturn I should sell and get back in at a lower point? I know how to do the rest of my stocks, but VOOs nearly constant upward trajectory kind of throws me off. Like it doesn't feel like I'm losing money, just missing gains, and I worry the tax will eat the profit making it not really worth selling and rebuying it two or three times a year. About 70k in it.
>>62815722youre the guy from this video at 0:45!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XX40lro5-Ao
>>62815743VOO is for chilling, never sell never even look at it
>>62815743you don't actively trade VOO, you're just paying taxes for free for no real benefit (and a very good chance of mistiming the market and losing money)
>futures
>>62815743It's an interesting way to play. Buy a thing and do nothing with it ever. Other people are doing things and you want some of their work, so you wait for them to be done and take what the winner gives you. You could call that winning too, people do that. People call things stuff. It works.
>>62815743>I know how to do the rest of my stocks
>>62815743Day trading/swing trading VOO is literally the dumbest shit Ive ever heard.
>>62815760See? If it's time to FUCK then you do it. Doesn't matter if you fuck UP. You still did it.
WE'VE COME A LONG LONG WAY TOGETHERTHROUGH THE HARD TIMES AND THE GOOD
Is this bullish or bearish for BABA
>>62815743The point is playing the S&P long-term and accepting that you can't really predict the pullbacks. And the strategy is that you let it grow over decades and then when you are retired you just pull money out to cover expenses.
PBRA was too risky at 4 P/E and a 14% divvyBwah hah waaaaaaaaah reeeeeeeeeeeeee

AAPL going to gap down on monday? They need to do a duo recall.
I’ve been aggressively decoupling my personal value stack from legacy credentialism and repositioning myself as an equity-first, agent-native outcome architect. My day starts at 04:30 with sunlight exposure, electrolytes and 20 minutes of first-principles journalling to identify where I’m still operating from an employee-centric scarcity ontology. Then zone 2 cardio while my agent swarm stress-tests my household’s strategic moat. No caffeine until I’ve shipped one asymmetric insight.Practically, I’m de-risking the balance sheet, fractionalising my expertise and building a portfolio of permissionless micro-ventures at the intersection of cheap cognition and expensive problems. I’ve also transitioned my wife and kids onto an outcomes-based operating cadence. We no longer have breakfast; we run a daily nutrition stand-up.The biggest unlock has been reframing my mortgage as a non-agentic liability embedded in a structurally unscalable housing workflow. Currently exploring whether I can collapse that entire vertical through a combination of Claude, breathwork and seller financing.People keep asking what I actually do. That’s legacy job-title thinking. I’m building the orchestration layer for who I’m becoming.Happy to connect with anyone else operationalising abundance at the nervous-system level.
>>62815814It's just one week.
NIGGERS
>>62815833I red this and I farded lamo lol
is consistently making 3% a month based or cringe?
>>62815833Yeah I get up around whenever, drink some of yesterday's coffee, browse /biz/ for 15 minutes then take a massive caffeine induced shit. Then I go back to sleep. So if you want to team up on a project I'll think about it champ.
>>62815868Doubling your money every other year sounds pretty good to me.
>>62815869type shit
>>62815743Unless you are very versed about markets and follow things like bond yields or dealer gamma very closely, I’d say the probability your guess is right is only 33%. In 33% of cases you didn’t change anything, and only in the last 33% of cases do you actually improve your price that way.
>>62815671Good movie. I'll probably watch it again. >>62815674Have you seen hell humpers? It's on yt.
