How fucked are we with AI? Skydance and Microsoft just announced buyouts for thousands of employees. And it comes on the same day of the Anthropic IPO announcement.
our people are fairly confident there's zero living human people alive who are aware what the hell is going on, and there never was and of course never will be. that's why we're here.
worth noting that a hefty portion of those laid off are H1B

people don't take it seriously yet but AI will make everyone economically and intellectually useless, and they will have no further need of you as a human beingthey'll do something to get rid of he excess cattle and useless eaters in the coming years
Microsoft is all-in - it has to signal faith in AI, or it's over for them. Slow collapse by incompetence (via buying out star employees and dumbing down the company) is preferable to instant collapse by acknowledging AI doesn't have a feasible business model.
>>62821337They better go the hell back India
>>62821219buy the IPO(s), simple as
>>62821440Yes buy the ipo of a company that lost 80 billion!!!
>>62821343>>62821440I’ve been aggressively decoupling my personal value stack from legacy credentialism and repositioning myself as an equity-first, agent-native outcome architect. My day starts at 04:30 with sunlight exposure, electrolytes and 20 minutes of first-principles journalling to identify where I’m still operating from an employee-centric scarcity ontology. Then zone 2 cardio while my agent swarm stress-tests my household’s strategic moat. No caffeine until I’ve shipped one asymmetric insight.Practically, I’m de-risking the balance sheet, fractionalising my expertise and building a portfolio of permissionless micro-ventures at the intersection of cheap cognition and expensive problems. I’ve also transitioned my wife and kids onto an outcomes-based operating cadence. We no longer have breakfast; we run a daily nutrition stand-up.The biggest unlock has been reframing my mortgage as a non-agentic liability embedded in a structurally unscalable housing workflow. Currently exploring whether I can collapse that entire vertical through a combination of Claude, breathwork and seller financing.People keep asking what I actually do. That’s legacy job-title thinking. I’m building the orchestration layer for who I’m becoming.Happy to connect with anyone else operationalising abundance at the nervous-system level.
>>62821404I gotta bad feeling about that.
>>62821590Hopefully they make one last stain on the street with one last defecation from a high building

>>62821606Im no poo, i hope they suicide before being forced back to that prolapse hanging off the bottom of asia
>>62821582How do I get on this level?
I have automated like 80% of my job with it.As soon as management realise this I am done for.
>>62821582That sounds very stressful. How are your cortisol levels?
>>62821582>when HR asks me to explain the gap in my resume
>>62822171Use the extra time to line up other gigs or do other work? Either way good job automating the wage cage

>>62821219The loss of jobs are only a small, yes small, part of the problem with AI. We, as a society, are fucked for sure. The rate at which the technology is advancing will only increase by its own doing imo. Those in power are doing everything they can to integrate it into every aspect of our lives and there really is no way to avoid it without going completely off grid. Which is something most people probably cannot do or wouldn’t want to do
>>62821219>>62822643The elites will probably release an AI-enhanced super bio weapon that will make covid look like a walk in the park. Just hope they release it in Africa and not NYC
>>62821404good thing is that Canadia is close for all the jeets to find a new job
>>62822652If I was an elite I would want a lot of my competition snuffed out. Take out the middle class and leave me with kings and slaves
>>62822684Lmao true. Give them a French lesson and a bus ticket north. Maple syrup niggers will welcome them.
>>62822245keke
>>62822706yep, this anon knows. There's too much social mobility in the West.
>>62822652I agree but desu I was comfy during covid because there was no traffic anywhere I went and the type of work I do meant that I had almost no interaction with people. I don’t think it will be like that with whatever new shit they come out with next time though
