What makes them immune to unionization?
>>62828901High and fast turnover.
>>62828909Can you elaborate? I'm hearing what people are saying about them but wouldn't it make sense to band together and walk out?
>>62828921By churning through employees quickly, they never get comfortable enough, or trust each other enough for them to band together. Furthermore, in order to facilitate a high turn over, you need to build an on-boarding pipeline, if you have a pipeline process in place for positions that have a low bar to entry, it's pretty easy to scale that pipeline up to a place where you've always got enough talent being filtered out at the last step through processes equivalent to a dice roll for final selection, that If the entire team did band together to try and put you into a difficult position, you could open the final gate of the talent acquisition pipeline wide enough quickly enough to see almost zero loss of production through an entire floor replacement. Combine that with processes so clearly defined and simple enough that the training requires less than an hour realistically, that so long as you retain the middle management layer your fully functional within a day, and a week if somehow you lost the middle also.
Low skill unionization is a meme
Lots of brown people
>>62828901>DSPd-donations?
>>62828901I think they actually pay their employees pretty well from what I can tell and they even hire college-educated people for the middle management positions.I know it's a meme to le hate billionaires or whatever but then you look at someone like Jeff Bezos and what he's achieved, what he has given to the American public, and how many people he pays/provides a living for, and it's like, oh yeah, that guy probably deserves having a billion dollars
>>62828977I'll put it as succulent as possible. It's labor work for decent pay. It's easy to get in and even easier to get kicked out. I've witnessed it first hand where they hire people one day and are gone the next. Those that survive, pardon me, but are only thier because they know they can't get anything better. That's why those that get a CDL end up leaving. I'm not talking about the class c but the class a. People that find better things tend to not stick around to long >>62829000It goes workers -> mangers -> board of directors. With out one you can not have the other unless you outsource but because of what USPS and UPS go through. Amazon is willing to pay their employees just enough where they don't think just do.
>I LITERALLY PRESSED ONE CLICK AND ITS TAKING ME TO ANOTHER PRIME AD>WOOOOOOOW
robots can't form a union
Remember when Amazon bought Whole Foods and then someone leaked an internal study from Whole Woods which found that the higher the diversity in their stores, the lower the chance of the workers unionizing? Turns out when the workers have no shared background, there's no solidary amongst them and you can easily pit them against eachother. If you point this out to leftists, what is left of their brain automatically malfunctions.
>>62829166I was a part of that transition. I was an Amazon worker working at whole foods when they merged. It pitted the new blood with the old blood which proved that memo to be correct. Hell, you could see the resentment in the whole foods workers eyes even before the merger
