Not sure who invented it but it’s an onchain metric that roughly shows the average price most coins were bought/moved at. Not ideal since it doesn’t account for buys that stay on exchanges but has been a reliable indicator last couple times.

There’s also the balanced price which is an even more „precise“ bottom indicator but that one seems so good that I wouldn’t be surprised if it broke this time
