the drop from 130 to 48 has been mind breaking for silver holders. after decades of holding they had a chance to sell high but got greedy. now it'll be another 20 years before they see $50 silver again.

The Big Boys are still Buying

Yea. I tried to sell 100 oz at 110. Horse shit no one was buying. Calling 20 stores in 200 mile radius. All smug and " you're the 100th person to call today we aren't buying". Two actually would buy. One 25 dollars under spot and one at 20 but not more than 10k dollars worth.

Buy at a premium. Sell at huge discount. Sold that garbage on the way down at 90 then 75. The the stores only took 5 dollars off spot.

Should have just got paper silver that everyone was whining about

>silver
jewed
>digital silver

the difference is LTC got jewed by Chink LEE, he thought Satoshi was dead, but Satoshi is from another timeline

Commodities are all ruled by simple supply and demand. With a commodity like silver, there is a huge amount of it already out there in people's hands. If the price goes up enough, people will simply sell their silver and the price goes down again. Same exact thing happened with gold. The demand side of the gold equation didn't go down in the slightest. Data centers are still demanding a ton of it. What changed was people started selling their gold because the price got so high and people eventually learned about that fact. Only thing that allowed it to go so high is that information travels slow.

Silver had really the textbook top. You had people posting pictures on /biz/ of lines outside metal stores with normalfags lining up to buy. Really couldn't ask for a better sign than that.
>>
>>62841858
Nobody would have bought at $130.

If gold and silver were limited to physical sales only it wouldn't have the dumps it generally gets, the market is essentially dominated by paper purchases and sales making the bulk of PM trade between fiat and the USD. Paper PMs are used as basically a very liquid asset that is better long term than holding dollars, the benefit for a lot of bigger industries too is that paper sales depress the physical cost of PMs for their own usages. As long as the petrodollar can maintain dominance this system will be maintained as both the US and British PM exchanges accept paper transactions. If more of the world PM market is dominated by an exchange that forces physical exchanges or physical holdings to be 1:1 then this all changes. Its very similar to fractional reserve banking in a way.

Not sure about 20 years. It will pump again some time after gold goes high again, and it WILL go to 5k 6k eventually. No amount of rate raising will change the fact that the only way for the US gov to pay debt is through printing.

You deserve it for falling to the schizo propaganda.
