The crypto game took my youth from me. Even if I make, I'll never experience early 20s love.

It's for the best. Young love is so intoxicating most men that experience it spend the rest of their lives sabotaging themselves attempting to feel it again, and they never do.

I'm middle aged and just want security. I do not want to be old and still have to work, or even worse, have been made obsolete by AI

I stayed inside the entirety of highschool because I was depressed. I lost all my social skills and confidence. I blame the Internet and video games. I wish I died at 19

Your own kids are, especially at toddler stage.

I've wasted ~9 of prime years because I got rekt hard in crypto (9 and still counting). I'm never getting those years back, and I'll probably never even get even.
I'm not even sure at what point I could say that it was worth it, +800k in the green? +1.5 mil? +2 mil? Not that it matters as it's not going to happen, but as a thought experiment, given all the misery that ensued in the lives of multiple people, probably around +3 mil, but I'm not sure, most likely I'll be bitter about this till I die.

Plenty of people have had it and then seen it thrown away for ridiculous reasons. Sometimes their exes even recognize later on that they screwed up. It's nice but it can go sideways and the fallout isn't worth what came before. Doubly so when the ex didn't just trash things but actively antagonizes you after.

I know a woman, kind of a hippie kind of girl, traveled a lot, eventually settled in the Phillipines, began dating a local tour guide.
Lived there for years. She had a child, which changed things. Suddenly you look at schools, social security, and the future prospect for your child.. So she moved back, things didn't work out with her husband.
That is a rough situation, being a single mom to a hapa kid, having no savings, no education, no job experience (other than goofing at the beach as a tour guide). That's a rough hand to have dealt yourself, a "GG" situation.

But yeah, she did "experience early 20s love", lived life, carpe diem style. so all is good..

I really don’t like people like you who shoot themselves in the foot than get bitter and cry about it. Try spending years building a business and pouring everything you have into it only to lose it all to theft and extortionate behavior while the police and attorneys do nothing. All as it was just coming together, all in while scaling by a factor of ten. Then being straddled with the debt and having to return to low paying wagie jobs and fading into the background like everyone else.

You ruined yourself and only have yourself to blame. It is deeply and spiritually maddening to have someone else do it for you.

Look at you all, I have grown chilkdren. I've also seen a lot of people die and been covered in other peoples blood and seen maggots crawling on living mens leg bones. I've been a m,ultimillionaire twice and seen it all. The only two things worth a mans heart are God and a dog. Everythiong else is noise.

I’ve only been in crypto for 4 years but I was already in my 30s when I started. I normally let the past be the past, but crypto ruined me mentally. It was a rollercoaster of emotions which permanently left a scar causing me to be apathetic and anhedonic. The whole idea was to break free from being a wagie. Not only am I stuck having to be a wagie for the rest of my life, but now I’m depressed on top of that. To make it worse, I know crypto will never recover to the way it used to be. Nothing but hopelessness left
>>
I always knew crypto was a fucking scam but at least the opportunities to make money were there. It was also fun desu. Now it’s absolute shit and no one cares about it anymore. Take away the trade bots and wash trading going on and the entire thing collapses.

You told me exactly what happened. Your own free will and decision making lead you to gamble away your money and now you’re all ‘woe is me’ about it.

It is much more traumatic when you lose everything due to someone else’s decision making and criminal behavior. Like having feral animals cannabilize the life you’ve made yourself, and having to interact with that everyday.

Why do wagies even come on to this board. Shouldn’t you be toiling away in the back of a KFC somewhere? Please stop infecting this forum with your negativity, we are trying to make money, not hear the regrets of those that didn’t make it. It’s deeply selfish and frankly my day is ruined.
