I would do freelancer work where basically people in salaried positions would pay me to do their work for them, or their whole jobs. I literally worked for a guy for a year and half, doing 100% of his work for him every day, working 9-5, and attending all his meetings for him. The only work he'd do is occasionally a meeting with upper management once a month.

All that work is just gone now. People get AI to do their work for them now.

Join the club. I was a freelance writer and AI more or less obliterated my career.
>>
>>62849452
That's impossible /biz/ told me that AI doesn't generate any money.
>>
>>62849452
yup. Lost my cybersec job because they just kicked everyone below senior/staff level and used AI instead. It sucks man, we're gonna hit a tipping point eventually when everyone under the age of 30 is just raped

wait for the extreme tech debt bounce in a year due to the shitty work AI puts out that nobody can fucking decipher

funny how people laugh at wagies here... yet, at least in the case of the OP, you can see that his "experience" won't help him because he can't even say who he worked for without compromising his clients.
from what I've read, freelancing has always been the worst option for every job: you have no legal backing (unless you have good enough income to pay a lawyer, I'd guess). you have to pay taxes, insurance, ... with your own money, and you can get fired overnight (well, this is bad for people that live in countries that have worker rights, i.e., not the US).

this. except, you will have to decipher that shit lmao.

biz: nothing ever happens, AI is a scam
reality: AI has replaced a couple million jobs and will replace, not restructure, replace fully without a human 10s of millions more in the coming couple years.

hope you own assets, if not you will be living off social security (UBI) in a couple years at 800/month, it might pay 1/3rd of your rent.

As a side note I dont think the elites really thought this through, either 7-8 billion people need to die or the economy has to collapse, there isn't a viable alternative.

They have long blamed overpopulation for “global warming” and how quickly Bill Gates stopped caring about green energy in favor of AI is telling.

I cant stop eating peanut butter and cheese despite being intolerant to both.....financial inplications?

Anyone else training their AI replacement? It's better than training an Indian I guess.

>Anyone else training their AI replacement?
if you use LLMs, you are training your replacement. what you think and what the contract with your """AI""" provider says doesn't matter.

someone's toilet is going to be a little cleaner due to sam altman
unmitigated success

HOLY FUCK SOXL AND PALANTIR
>>
>>62849725
I will simply get ai to decipher it
>>
>>62849725
The technology is good, the amount they paid for it isn't sustainable. So I half agree with your statement.

Funnily, I have been doing this for 20 years before it was cool, and I have more clients than ever and AI is helping me improve and manage all their work. I am surprised your clients are adept enough to use AI well. Or maybe their jobs are too easy. Find government workers, they are often retarded and overpaid.
>>
>>62849745
>As a side note I dont think the elites really thought this through
Retard. Malthusian economics has guided the elite playbook since the 70s.
>>
>>62849735
Yeah
I have experience doing executive work in one of the largest companies in the world.
but it means fuck all, because I'm not the socially correct class of person that gets hired for these jobs.

the only thing I can get is some peanuts tossed at me for doing their work for them.

Most of these jobs are not serious,
when I can manage juggling the work of multiple of these people, that are being paid more in a year than I can make in 10 years.

I've been collecting data from these companies. I intend to sell it one day, if I could find a buyer.
>>

>his "experience" won't help him because he can't even say who he worked for without compromising his clients
Why the fuck would he care about them? It's pretty obvious he should have started blackmailing them as soon as they stopped paying.
>>
how did you attend his meeting for him
>>
>>62849745
>>62850041
both can be true
The j*ews in charge think they'll send drones to kill everyone, when they can't even defeat Iran

Money and power brings delusion about one's godhood, but they're just men.
>>
Well
I want to thank /biz/ again because a year ago Sandisk was only 200 dollars a share, now it's 1100. Was 2400 at the top. So if the retards here hadn't been fudding, I would have made it. Now we all drown I guess.
But hey, at least you were right about the bubble. Too bad you didn't call the top at the right time.

I'm racking my brain here. Did they do anything to prepare for this? Did anything happen before 2022? I'm not sure. Maybe they just never thought this through?
>>
>>62850805
Ivory Tower Overshoot. They are so disconnected from the commoners they think they can just take anything from them and it's no big deal. They imagine their own capabilities to be far beyond what they really are. EG, How will all the different groups of people react to a food shock? They will not come together and sing Kum By Yah. But the Elites don't know that. A few ultra elite might but the average Elitist fears the strong, white man only. He doesn't realize that Asians and Indians can find him out. Stop forcing integration if you want to keep ruling.
>>
>>62850857
Literally wtf are you talking about lmao
